Has the Vita price drop already started in japan? The sales dropped a bit. 3DS doing amazing as usual, and the Wii U is dropping as usual.

Wow, if not for Taiko Wii it would have been a 3DS top 10 chart. :D

Looks like Wii U did not stabilize and is almost at Vita level though that's quite understandable due to lack of software. Looks like Vita will outsell it in a few weeks time.

28th of February.

Vita is going to fall until the price drop arrive, although I don't know if we will see a historic minimun the week before xD

Japan is a much smaller market than America and Europe. It's why 3DS keeps missing all of Nintendo sales projections for it even after the slash them multiple times.

The PSP version sold more. You need to fix that.

We've known this period would be dry for Wii U games, and thus Wii U sales. It's redundant to continue to go on about it needing to turn around fast. We know when that will happen, it'll be towards the end of next month.

Until then, we just have to be patient

The pricedrop announcement was after the accounted sales period, so it had no affect in this weeks sales data. Next week we´ll see what affect the announcement will have.

Nintendo, now would be a good time to announce dates for Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Wii U Fit, and Game & Wario. You know, titles that were suppose to come out back at launch or the launch window...

So Japan is buying ~10K Wii U's a week.

So is the United States from last NPD.

Europe is most likely selling lower then that based on feedback from the region.

So if Nintendo is only selling about ~30K to 40k Wii U's a week, I wonder how long it will be until they have so many sitting in warehouses that they have to slow, if not shutdown temporarily, some manufacturing lines.

There has to be over a million unsold Wii U's worldwide according to what was shipped by Nintendo (last financial report), and at the current worldwide rate, it will take nearly 20 to 30 weeks to get through that stock.

Seriosly, Nintendo may not need to manufacture another single Wii U until next Holiday season (unless there is a major change beforehand of couse). That's crazy.

Japan is 3DS land. We need new Pacman charts. WiiU no games = no sales. I wonder if they really thought Nintendo Land could push the system like Wii Sports pushed the Wii.

Lots of very leggy 3DS titles on there, very impressive stuff. For Vita we could be seeing a historic low this week as the price drop is next Thursday.

Wii U will continue its slow decline till late March when something else comes out for it.

I think they were hopeful that NL could become a new phenomenon, but didn't especially plan on it. Their shipment numbers and software forecasts were probably heavily predicated on NSMBU pushing a lot more systems.

Next week we could see Wii U go below 10k and Vita go below ... 5k (?). If news of the impending price cut spreads.

The "healthy" PS3 sold only 6k more units. And like PSP outselling 3DS in some 2011 weeks it most likely will be only short term also in this case, especially with PS4 in the horizon, I wouldn´t even exclude the possibility of a similar situation to PSP vs PSV.

There shouldn't have been a question when Terry's Wonderland was announced. The only question is when would be the best time to announce. End of the fiscal year event? Or will it be much later like near TGS?
