GTX650 for a game that runs on 360 and PS3? Sounds incredibly unoptimised.
There's a ton more API overhead on PC.

Also people, it's worth nothing that the minimum requirements are the same as Metal Gear Rising.
For PS3/360-esque performance I wouldn't be surprised if you could go lower.GTX650 for a game that runs on 360 and PS3? Sounds incredibly unoptimised.
runs on ps3 and 360 at sub-720p and a bumpy 30fps.
and again, a 650 is a budget card.
Never thought I'd see the day people would pretend a 650 is some super enthusiast powerhouse outside the budget of mere mortals.

I'm sure it'll run at PS3/X360 levels if not better on my 2008 graphics card.

and guess what, it's going to run ground zeroes at a higher resolution and probably better framerate than those consoles, surprise! From 20127 years after 360 and PS3 were launched.

i have no idea what you're getting at. a 650 is a perfectly reasonable minimum card.
Does this mean that my PC with its i5 2500K CPU and 560ti graphics card won't be able to run it? That would be a bummer. I guess I should think of saving up money to upgrade it pretty soon...

well if an 8800 is your frame of reference, yeah, i'd say you're a little bit behind on what graphics cards are like now.I guess I haven't really kept up with minimum requirements for PS3/360 games. The last time I was into PC gaming if it was on either it was a safe bet that you'd get great performance out of an 8800GTX.

your 560 is the better card.

That's real weird. The naming of computer parts is way too confusing. Plus, since I built this PC in the summer of 2011 (using the recommended parts in the OP of the GAF PC thread at the time, of course!), I haven't paid too much attention to PC parts. I've been able to max out almost everything I've tried until relatively recently!
They really need a better way of naming/numbering cards according to power. Look at all the confusion here.
"Presumably, massively more powerful than an 8800, which is precisely why I'm a little confused."
Here's the thing: The PS3/360 versions of Ground Zeroes are not equivalent to the PS4/XBO versions, so you shouldn't compare the hardware requirements of the PC Version of GZ like it will be equivalent to the PS3/360 versions.
People really love to get mad, don't they?
Obviously, the PC version will be closer to the PS4/XBO versions than the 360/PS3 versions.

Will my 820M 2 GB be fine with it?
November 16 (day) in at the NVIDIA booth of "week bias LIVE" to be held at the Belle Salle Akihabara, Japan's first and demonstration of "NVIDIA SHIELD tablet + Android 5.0", and "Metal Gear Solid V ground Zerozu" PC version of the demo can experience.
You can demo the experience of the first unveiling become "Metal Gear Solid V ground Zerozu" PC version. Moreover, I can play at a high resolution of 4K use the system of "GeForce GTX 980 3-Way SLI".
Also, for those who participated in the session of the new features "VXGI" of the latest GPU architecture "Maxwell" to be held at the NVIDIA booth will be present and signature badge of Metal Gear.
I think that this is the "right" thread to post it.
It seems that the "unveiling" of PC footage of GZ is going to be held in 2 days, at an event in Akihabara.
It'll be shown at Nvidia's booth there.

Maybe this needs a thread for the news?
Even at 4K, 3 980 seem overkill for this, no offense.
is the 460 a direct x 11 card?Someday I'll upgrade my gtx460, someday... At least I'll be able to play at minimun.
Yes, I think it was one of the first dx11 cards.is the 460 a direct x 11 card?
If these were accurate, this game requires DirectX11, and therefore it's quite obvious they're not scaling the PC version all the way back to 360 and PS3 levels, so drop this "unoptimised" nonsense citing the PS3 and 360.
