Paris, June 8th, 2017 - Microïds is proud to present its line-up of upcoming releases! Traditionally a publisher of multi-platform games, Microïds is expanding its catalogue while confirming its support for French production and its desire to reach out to as many players as possible by developing most of its titles for the Nintendo Switch as well.

"The Nintendo Switch perfectly reflects Nintendo's DNA, and for them innovation and new ways of playing have always been a priority. We share the same vision as Nintendo, and so naturally we wanted to offer players the chance to play our titles on this new platform." stated Elliot Grassiano, Vice-President of Microïds.

Held off on getting Syberia 3 because of this and will double dip on the first two games if this turns out well.

Oh, there's a Blacksad game? I just started reading the comic. Found it by accident and at least the first story was kind of good.

Syberias interest me too, was considering buying them for PC, but the Switch could be an ideal platform...

Anyway, so glad to see that more and more indies are embracing the little console. So happy.

EDIT. Damn guys, glad to see there more fans of the Blacksad comic!

So what is the consensus on the Syberia games? I've heard about them previously, but never played one.

While I haven't played the third one yet, the first two in my opinion are absolute classics in the adventure genre. Love them.

Hmm, I've always been on the fence but you (and Microids) convinced me. I just don't have the time to play them on PC, so time to save money

Unless the Switch version of Syberia 3 is a complete reworking/overhaul of the original, it's best to avoid that game completely. Here are my impressions, it's definitely an experience I'll never forget. If you want 10+ hours of the worst VA you'll ever hear in a game, try it out

So best to just stick with 1 and 2 then?

I've never played the first games but I hear those are actually decent adventures. I'm never playing those games though because I don't want so spend another minute in the Syberia universe after playing 3. A real dumpster fire of a game.

The Nintendo Switch so far feels like an indie game promiseland I hoped the Ouya and Vita would be.

3d remake looks even worse, lol.

Not possible to look worse than that God-awful filter, but yeah, the 3D one completely loses 100% of the original charm of the game.

I wish they'd go back and touch it up with modern tech, it could actually look decent nowadays.
