Lock if old.

Probably a mobile title or something. Or maybe Hololens (although the rest of their Hololens stuff is classified differently, admittedly)

Sounds 90s as fuck. I could see a game called Roboraid living on a shelf next to Streets of Rage.

Probably a little win 10/mobile thing.

Dude, hololens is not even a consumer device yet, and it certainly isn't aiming to be a gaming device.

That doesn't mean they aren't actively working on gaming projects. They already showed us that Project X-Ray thing, im sure there are more things in the pipeline

Exclusive title from Respawn maybe?

If MS were working directly with Respawn I doubt they'd manage to swindle IP ownership and even if they did... I don't know, Roboraid would probably be too close to Titanfall and i'd think they could come up with a more premium sounding name.

Not that I think they're publishing Respawn's other project

ROBORAID sounds badass. Good to see them on new IP's. Can't think of anything or anyone now. Mind wants an action game like Transformers Devastation on a way bigger scale or a Xenoblade clone, but brain tells that it's nice to want things. :(

That makes sense but as the other poster said above, why trademark it when hololens probably isn't going to be released at retail until likely next year at the earliest

Sometimes trademarks are done early, sometimes they're done later.

Ori and Screamride were both trademarked in advance of their announcement as other stuff has been too

If I recall correctly, Microsoft had a demo for Hololens where robots came crashing through the wall, shooting and blowing up stuff.

This looks like it.

Yeah nothing else it could be when the hololens game they showed was literally robots raiding the room.

They didn't trademark it as an online entertainment software though (class 41) in addition to class 9 like they did with Sea of Theives and Recore. It's only classes under 9 just like Fragments, their other Hololens game software trademark.

Hope they rename recore to this, this sounds awesome
Makes little sense, the "core" part clearly reflects the idea of the robots being powered and and controlled by the blue and red orbs you could see during the reveal CG-video.

Roboraid sounds super generic to me.

Could just be the official name for the Hololense alien/robot shooting game.

Called it

RoboRaid – The final game can best be described as a first person shooter which pits you against enemies who tear through your walls to attack you. Sound plays a large role in this game as you will need to listen carefully in order to determine which direction the enemies will use to approach you.

Shame about Conker though.
