Lol game is still going and Jomboy has the time to edit a video. That's how many runs have been put up. What an awful end to a great series

Congrats to the Cards on advancing. Musky I'm counting on your team to beat the bums now. Already the fuckery has commenced.

Brian McCann has just announced his retirement. I'm sure I would never want to play another game either after that shit show.

Glad McCann was at least able to go elsewhere and get a ring. Wasn’t gonna get one in Atlanta otherwise.

What a shitty way to end the season. They’ll probably ban the chop for next year too.

Obnoxious Giants fanboying aside I kind of feel bad for Kershaw. He's one of the best to have ever played and watching him fall apart in the playoffs each year is kind of sad. Rendon hit a bad pitch out, slider below the knees. Tip your cap to that but he was definitely rattled then served one up to Soto.

Wow. Kershaw and the Dodgers blow it again.

Kershaw is like David Price. Use em for the regular season. Bench em when the playoffs start.

He was a solid pool choice for catcher position earlier in his career!

I dislike the Nationals so very much. And I think because of this year, me wanting them to lose, they're winning on purpose. It's fuckin' sick. But what's even more sick...

CLAYTON KERSHAW IS 100% TRASH.

COMPLETE TRASH!

Go O's!

Firing a manager who has been successful has become a trend in the past few years. Sox dumped Farrell, Yanks dumped Girardi. Sometimes these front offices think they got to shake up the coaching staff to take them to the next level. And with all the managers currently looking for work (Maddon, Girardi, Showalter) I think there's a chance the Dodgers might want to move on.

Girardi and Pierzynski have a pretty good dialogue with each other. They'd make a pretty solid announce team.

Guess I'll get the predictions out of the way.

Even though I'd love to be wrong here, I think the Nationals beat the Cardinals in 7.
And even though I want the Stros to win, I think the Yankees gonna take it in 6.

Yankees take the WS against the Nationals 4-1

And the Evil Empire strikes again.

WHAT A SAD WAY TO END THE BASEBALL YEAR!

The Cardinals have the weakest offense of the final four by far and can't compare to the depth in the Nationals' rotation. They have a better bullpen but even they've been having issues with their closer in the NLDS. Anything can happen in the playoffs, especially with the overachieving Cardinals, but they have a pretty big hill to climb.

I'm going to go with Washington as well. Maybe in 6 games, Cards offense just isn't great. Sure they beat up on Atlanta but the Braves have absolute garbage pitching.

I'm going with Houston over the Yankees as well.

Also, Glasnow was tipping pitches last night. Give credit to the Astros and their organization, because by my count this is the third confirmed time they've exploited a pitcher tipping his stuff in the postseason. They got Yu Darvish in 2017, Kimbrel last year and Glasnow tonight. If I'm the Yankees I'm watching tons of footage of my guys and making sure nothing is up, because you can bet Houston has already found it.

Anibal Sanchez has a no hitter through 7 against the Cardinals. His pitch count isn't that high so he could go the distance.

You guyses think the Nats are gonna sweep? Two no hit bids and a Cards offense that looks completely baffled.

Houston vs Yanks happening now. I think the Yanks win tonight.

As someone who’s lived in St. Louis for 15 years, the exact moment you count them out is when they play their best baseball. We haven’t seen the Nationals bullpen get tested yet, I think they break through after Strasburg leaves in Game 3.

I’ve seen the Nationals bullpen all year.

It’s... like those old 3 stooges episodes

Nor do I. Especially if Boone goes to his bullpen early a lot. Sure they got an off day tomorrow but repeated use of the bullpen could spell trouble.

Looks like the Yankees emptied the tank trying to steal this one and came up just short. Seems like the advantage is heavily tilted in the Astros favor - now watch Cole get rocked for the first time in 5 months :messenger_grinning_smiling:
