Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Collector's Edition announced for North America

Please please change the boxart, it's so ugly :(

MH is semi-niche. I don't know the numbers for 3U, but Tri on the Wii sold something like 800k in the west. That's a lot more than Ace Attorney ever did.
 
I hope Europe get's a New 3DS bundle instead of this.
Apart for the cleaning cloth I don't care for any of the items; Gore Magala is just too ugly, I hate the felines and have no use for the lanyard.

I'm just happy to see that Capcom is looking at NA finally. And that is right, hopefully that announcement for the N3DS is not to far off for NA.

Yeah I'm waiting for a new 3ds bundle. May not include a physical copy but when they fucked up the cover art who cares.

I do want to buy a lagiacrus or rath figurine though.

Rath or Lagi would be nice but the best we can hope for is Seruregiosu.
 
Now I am very torn about this. I prefer having a digital copy but this is very enticing. I guess me and my friend can do an exchange. I give him the retail copy and he gives the digital copy. He's not into MH as much as I am so he wouldn't mind this.

I was starting to think I was the only one who would rather get what Japan is getting and has been getting

Custom systems have always been the very best MH Swag

I hope US Gaffers will support this game, I played the PSP version with a end game save, kinda fun the only thing I hate was the gameplay rigidity. Also, one of the few games handled by Cacpcom that don't turn right into a mess.

MH4U will be the best Monster Hunter game to date as far as I can tell. 3U didn't even get me this pumped since I had played Tri and Portable 3rd leading up to it

Don't care much for the box or this collectors edition though. Definitely gonna grab a New 3DS and go digital. Hopefully people make some awesome faceplates but the official Kit Ku ones I like a lot

I will definitively buy the new 3DS too and if MH4U get great reviews, I think I gonna fall for it :) oh can we hunt online or only had-oc?
 
Just curious, I downloaded a Monster Hunter game way back when on the PSP and I thought the controls were pretty horrendous (especially with one joystick). With the new 3DS having 2 sticks, have there been any previews talking about better controls (ie should I give the series another chance)?
 
still no US release date though, right? i'm hoping it'll shed some insight about the n3DS release

i played MH on a PSP and Vita and yeah, that second stick makes the game waaaay more playable

Yah. Thankfully Nintendo repaired that broken bridge which sony ruined.

We wouldn't be able to play MH4 proper if it went to vita instead.

I really doubt we will get a n3DS bundle. MH4G will have been few months old when n3DS gets released in the West.
