Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Collector's Edition announced for North America

Huh the LE never showed up in our system at my gamestop. All we have is the regular version. Me and two other coworkers have been keeping an eye for when it's available too.

Man, wish it came with a Felyne plush or figure or something.
I like the chest box, but I dunno if I wanna dish out the extra $20.

Ugh... I wonder whether to point the finger at Capcom or GS at this point since they seemed pretty confident that it would be up :/

Glad I read this now, because I was thinking of heading out this morning.
 
Preordered online.
I wish Amazon would have gotten it sooner if they do eventually get it, but I'd rather pay the ~$7 Gamestop shipping/tax fees than not get a CE.
 
Just called my local Gamestop. The associate I spoke with said that it's not in the system yet, though she said that if it just showed up on the website, It might show up in the system tomorrow.

I have two questions for anybody that knows: If I pre-order now online, do I get charged now, or when the game ships? And how easy is it to cancel an online pre-order with Gamestop?

Mine said the same.

Also I just cancelled my Gamestop.com preorder because Amazon's is up!

I'll let you know about cancelling. All I did was hit the cancel shipment button.

Edit: it's cancelled. Nice and easy.

Honestly, with Smash, Hyrule Warriors and Fantasy Life, I'm more than set for the year.
 
Exactly 200 days away!

I'll probably just grab the eShop version though just because it's the sort of game I don't mind welding to my system full-time.
 
Called Gamestop again. Still not in the system... I have it pre-ordered on Amazon now, but I'd prefer to pick it up on release day...

Even the Wii U version "exceeded expectations", if I recall correctly. It's basically more sales for minimal effort. But we'll find out for sure soon enough.
 
So did this ever end up going into GS's store systems? I went in the other day and STILL nothing, despite Capcom saying that it would be available at store locations :/
 
Called my local GameStop again today, and the associate said that this is now in the system, but as a "web in store". Basically it's the same as ordering it online, but in store (it still gets shipped to your house too). She said you have to pay the full price too. I don't know now if this will be added for in store pre order at all...

Kind of annoying, but I think I'll just keep my Amazon order, and buy the the game on the eShop day one. It's a game I want on my 3DS at all times anyway (but still can't live without the limited edition).

Ohhhh... that is so dumb :/ Yeah I heard it was online-only, but it didn't have the "online only" button on the actually web page, which made me think it might go in the system. I don't want to pay for shipping so I guess I'll keep my Amazon order too (but they better package it well...)

Seriously. If this come packaged like some of the other collectors items I've purchased from them...

I'm still going to keep an eye on GameStop, in case it does get added to the system.

Yeah I switched to GS since Amazon squished too many LEs in bubble wrap. I would be more optimistic since this would fit in a box at least, but the Destiny LEs also say otherwise... Those ones were pretty big, but still. I heard some didn't even get PUT in a box when they were shipped out :/
