This one got recommended to me on my Steam calendar, can't say it would've caught my eye with that sloppy title but this game actually looks really cool.



A tower defense / Vampire survivors / roguelike, looks like a lot of fun! It's out on Steam and PC Game Pass tomorrow.

Up on Gamepass. What a weird game. Your run around with a weapon that activates on it's own like vampire survivor and mine rocks trees gold while upgrading your castle with stuff to defend/attack.
The castle slowly moves down the screen and you have to clear the way every now and then.
I've played Lots of roguelikes lately but this seemed different.
It's fun.

Ok, so it's showing on the Xbox app.

But on a lot of these store pages for recent Play Anywhere titles, released around the time of the Xbox Ally Handheld release, there was an additional tag pending in the Play With: section.

There was a 4th bubble pending that was meant for the Handheld Optimized store tags. Either a glitch and they fixed the code, or there's still yet to be an announcement.

Baldur's Gate 3 and Mortal Kombat 1 were also supposed to become Play Anywhere, everyone assumed it would be announced at the Partner Showcase.
Maybe they're delaying things for the Game Awards or December announcement.

I grabbed it, it's pretty cheap too. If you own Ball x Pit on Steam already you can save an extra dollar on it.

Only had time for a couple runs last night but it seems really fun, a mix of Vampire Survivors and Tower Defense as advertised. The mining for resources stuff reminds me of the Deep Rock Galactic Survivors one too. Taking good elements from a lot of other games but it ends up feeling quite unique and has a great style and energy to it.
