It's much easier to dislike a song when you hear it constantly, especially at a place of work where you begin to associate it with all the other monotonous things you do throughout the day or unpleasant experiences. Popular music is everywhere; if you're not hearing it in television commercials or the radio at home, it's on during your trip to the supermarket or in someone's car at high volume. The answers in this thread don't surprise me.

If you can find a way to mostly avoid the overexposure and revisit certain pop songs once their 15 minutes are up, you might be surprised to find yourself enjoying and dancing along to it.
