Great finish in the motogp, MM never gives up.

Maq seemed like the strongest rider today, that mistake 3 laps to go probably costed him the win as he could only get close enough on the last sector of the last lap. I agree he had to try it. Credit to Dovi that held in the end with the softer tyre.

Another silly mistake from Meeke in the opening stage. Things are not looking good for him, especially with Mikkelsen's strong performance.

Honda's racing engine development department had a weekend to forget as their leading talent's had similar issues.

Yep just saw that, most unfortunate. At most he can come back to try to help Viñales for the title. I wonder who is taking his bike until he is back... Zarco?

No, it will likely be Nakasuga. And I suspect Yamaha will basically get him to race test as many 2018 parts as he can.

IRL race today is at Watkins Glen. Love watching racing there after so many video game laps on that track.

Huge incident involving points leader Josef Newgarden coming off pit road with only 13 laps to go.

Eh, how can you not have Nurburgring or Silverstone in the schedule... :/

DTM was at the Nurburgring this weekend. Weather looked awful in Germany but it was good racing.

Great rides for first and second place at the San Marino MotoGP.

Moto3 & Moto2 as nuts as always..

And fuck so called fans who boo riders on the podium - the sooner they fuck off the better.

BMW Unveils M8 GTE:

... and it looks amazing. I still wish the rear diffuser could be more seamlessly integrated into the design, but otherwise, these contemporary GTE models sure do look the part.

It's especially great that the M8 is fully homologated for both ACO/FIA and IMSA competition; I'm eagerly anticipating seeing it Stateside in the WeatherTech series.

Well that's just pornographic.

If WEC wants to be relevant I think that the FIA and ACO needs to sit down and see if they can convince JAF to allow GT500 into the series. Reorganize the calender to not clash with SUPER GT. That's my wet dream anyway, GT500 are quicker than LMP2 already, they'll make a great class in the WEC, a class above LMP2 but below the almost non existent LMP1.
