How the hell did I miss this thread? I hope the game has been doing well, unfortunately I haven't had the time to play it, but it certainly is on my list.

You guys noticed it fast! I pushed it to start checking for errors and place it in the Coming Soon section but still haven't announced it "oficially" if there is such a thing.
Yes, next week we should reveal launch date, price and the full list of changes to 1.02 from the original version.
We also have new art, poster and some extra stuff for kicks.

Everyone who bought it before on our site or Desura will get a Steam key, of course :)

Ok, it's now official!
We will launch on Steam on the 17th of July.

Everyone who got the game through our website, Desura or the Humble Bundle will have access to the game a few days earlier.

The release on the Steam platform includes many Steam updates and Steam extra features only found on Steam!

  • - Updated Steam version to 1.02 with multiple bug fixes and Steam enhacements.
  • - New Steam animations for Steam Case, Steam Bot, Steam Garcia and many Steam more.
  • - Support for Steam achievements with a proper real trophy shelf on Case's office.
  • - Awesome and cool Steam Trading Cards!
  • - Taxi is now properly Steam animated.
  • - Revised Steam English version.
  • - Steam!

With the upcoming Steam release on the 17th of July we decided to step it up and make some cool merchandise.

All is in Portuguese but we should create some smaller ammounts in English.
Basically we created 2 big posters and a soundtrack in a typical old fashioned Sinclair Spectrum magnetic tape.

Unfortunately, we aren't shipping outside of Portugal. Sorry friendly international gaffers. All of this stuff and shipping is complicated to handle as it is mostly me and my colleagues doing everything. Maybe some day we will create an English version of this stuff.

Instead of releasing a demo we decided to do a free episode that is not included in the game. It is a small story that gives the players a taste of our little game.

But we decided to go a step further and address a current political/academic issue in our country, the freshman welcoming that includes very dubious initiation rituals called "praxe". Earlier this year, 5 freshman students died on a beach at night when the sea engulfed them all while they were supposedly performing one of these rituals.
In our mini-episode Detective Case is hired by senior students to find a hiding freshman so they can perform the "praxe" on him. The player will have to make some important decisions about this.

Unfortunately the free episode is only in Portuguese, but anyone can download and check out our graphics, music and gameplay.

Can we expect to see this included in the Steam edition at some point?
(and I guess non-Portuguese-speaking GAF would appreciate a translation of it too)

@Loona: we are thinking about it, but we have so much work right now that we will put it up on Steam when we have some free time basically. English for that episode is a big no-no as it is almost impossible to translate due to the extreme Portuguese tie-in with "Praxes".

The term "hazing" should b perfectly applicable, but I'm yet to play through the demo.

I like the visuals and the twist on the Phoenix Wright-style cross-examinations, but man, the English translation is a little rough :p Any way to play windowed?

Decided to replay the game again, I'd forgotten much about it and am atm stuck at
the hotel; I got all items I could find in the room, where to next? Seems I got to get a baton too
