Haven't checked out a Naruto game since the first Ubisoft one on Xbox 360, which really did do the series justice gameplay mechanics-wise.
But I'm posting here because I managed to win this game but I haven't touched it yet, and the game plus the Season Pass is on sale right now on Xbox One. The Season Pass is 50% off for $10, which isn't bad since I got the game for free, but I've heard complaints about the game, mostly multiplayer stuff though.
If the scan gets translated and it shows that this *might* get included in the Season Pass, or they at least say that they will patch the game, I might bite for that Season Pass since I have some free XBL credit on hand. I have till Monday before the sale is over to see if it gets translated by then.
Good to see the rumors of DLC for Storm 4 panned out. Now it's just a matter of wondering how many new characters this will include and also if this will fix any of the major glitches/bugs that have plagued the online multiplayer in addition to addressing the complaints about online (ex: no spectating during Endless Battle lobbies, only 4 players for endless lobbies, etc etc). And, of course, rebalancing some things (even if these games aren't going to be balanced anyway there's some really stupid stuff you can do with the switching mechanic the devs didn't test for or even think about).
If they have a good amount of additional new characters with this as well as at least address the online multiplayer complaints (such as no spectating) then I'll bite on this. Oh, actually, I guess the latter would be a free patch for everyone but still CC2 usually doesn't do patches with major new features sooo... Yeah I'd like to hear about if they're adding or fixing anything about the game in combination with releasing this DLC.
Otherwise, if this is just another Full Burst where we get like two new characters and a short story chapter... I might pass on it depending on the price.
Edit: Oh yeah, with this confirmed, it means we're probably getting the remastered collection of 1-3 because Road to Boruto was trademarked by Bamco alongside a Trilogy Collection of the Ultimate Ninja Storm games. I wonder when that will get announced, then.
Seriously. IQ is obviously much better than previous titles already, but Pro could really do the game justice with better texture filtering and more aggressive AA. Hoping at the very least they'll bother to enable to MSAA in 1080p mode.
