NBA Playoffs 2019-2020

9 and half minutes left in the game Kawhi w/14pts and Paul/10pts. Is it fair to say the Raptors team carried Kawhi more than Kawhi carried the Raptors much in the same sense in Kawhi's first championship run he was a 10pts a game role player with the Spurs.

Playoff P and Confusing Kawhi
Leonard was great on Raps, but the team is good enough to lose a close series to Celts, and actually have a better winning % than last year with Leonard.

Leonard put Raps over the top last year, but he wasn't a player who changed a team from let's say a 32-50 record to 50-32. What he provided Raps is scoring and driving the net drawing fouls. The rest of the team did the rest.

This has been such a unstable and uncertain year, it genuinely feels good to see something routine and expected. Like the LA Clippers failing to clear the 2nd round, again :goog_halo:

Mavericks would have won against Clippers, but Prozingis wanted hard mode enabled and decided to stay on the bench. 💁

What did the Clippers pay to acquire Playoff P?
The only person I'm also very happy for this is Paul, dude was a life time Lakers fan who fought to get out of Indiana only to spurn his favorite team for the LA team NOBODY LIKES and now you're stuck in purgatory watching LeBron who could've carried you now looking to take your chip.

Sign all the free agents you want... Clippers are still the Clippers. Absolutely delicious. Look at Ballmer with his fucking Clips mask on hahahaha!

Kudos to Denver, who will probably win the title if they keep playing like this.
Nuggets looked like this in large part because jobbers named Ivan Zubac and Montrezl Harrell were asked to guard Joker.

Anthony Davis has that job now. Jokers coming back down to earth, no question.

I don't follow basketball enough to know Jamal Murray but I checked his stats. His playoff stats are about 8 pts more per game, his shooting % has jumped and he's launching 3's at around a 50% clip. Crazy.

I've gained so much respect for Jamal Murray.

Lakers better double him up every time he touches the ball, my god.

TBH, the way he playing he deserves the win the championship.

Too bad he'll face Lebron though

I've been too busy watching hockey playoffs. When the Lakers/Nugs series starts I'm going to flip back and forth. I wanna see the guy in action. I've been just checking boxscores for games except Raps which I watched. All I've been seeing is Murray and Jokic in crazy game highlights.

So now what? I felt this year was the Clippers’ best shot at a title. They essentially have just next season before Leonard and George hit free agency. Unless they win a championship, I don’t think they keep either of those guys.

There were so many storylines heading into the potiental match up

Lakers vs Clippers.
Frank Vogal vs his former player
Rondo vs his former coach
Brother vs Brother. Marcus Morris Sr. and Marcus Morris Jr
LeBron vs Kawhi

Damn...

Warriors are coming back, Nets are going to slaughter and the usual gatekeepers. Next year will be a difficult year to win for any team.

They’re stuck there until like 2022, both of them

True, also nobody knows what Giannis will do yet. He might go to the west if he does leave.

Still shocked that the Bucks and Clippers are not 2 of the last 4 teams remaining in the playoffs. Both teams got exposed badly.

Kawhi came up short like no other. Entire Clippers team meltdown. It was bad, Playoff P playing like a scrub entire 2nd half
I expected George to suck, but Kawhi choking is shocking to me. I expected a huge game out of him. Especially since it looked like Murray could have been a bit hobbled after his fall last game.

Wild series.

Eventually even great players break. Remember Wade given up in game 6 of the 2011 finals after 4th quarter LeBron finally broke his will?

Likewise bro. I never thought Kawhi would simply miss all these buckets. He used to get t to his spots like it was nothing in San Antonio and hit with ease. Not a care in the world. Just got buckets like it was nothing. In the Finals versus the Heat even

I saw him get pretty flustered with his squad’s lack of composure in game 6. The entire roster folded tonight. Them boys talked a big game but now it’s clear only Kawhi knew what he was doing out there. Chumps around him were so sorry they ended up bringing him down lmao. Clippers got embarrassed out there hard

If the Nuggets defeat the Lakers in the WCF I’ll be shocked. Lakers in 6

Yeah even saw a few clips on Twitter of Kawhi complaining to the refs. He almost never does that. Or at least I have never seen him do it much. It looks like he was just out of his element or something.

The only player I see with potential on the Clippers is Montrezl Harrell. The rest are pretenders surrounding Kawhi. He might find himself in the same position next year unless Patrick Beverly somehow ups his game heavily in the offseason. Zubaca learns how to shoot or something. 50 years not reaching the WCF 😂😂🤣😂🤣😂😂😂

Didn't realize that Paul and Kawhi combined for 5 points in the entire second half.

3 by Paul
2 By Kawhi

Wow.

I was rooting for the Clippers cause I thought they had a better shot to beat the Lakers.

Leonard should have stayed on Raps. Raps would have beat Celts and they'd be playing Heat.

So much for the Leonard/George super team.
George unfortunately is overrated. He was supposed to be the answer pairing him next to WB and he did the exact same thing, just existed. I'd still give up an arm for KL, but the Clippers were not a well built team the way the Raptors were. The Raptors were a bunch of dudes who got along and wanted to play ball. The Clippers were a bunch of dudes playing for themselves and honestly, I feel like all outside of KL lack heart. Doc did what he could, but this is not a team that plays well with eachother and I think KL and his kind of ISO ball he does worked with what he had last year with the probing and kicking doesn't work with this squad.
