Alright this is my first time posting in these sorts of threads so bear with me, posting from April and May so far.

I made the unexpected jump to a PS4 Pro, the other one was starting to act up so I thought to get ahead of a crappy situation and trade it in against this beauty.

I had only intended to buy the God of War artbook but wanting to take advantage of amazon's free delivery I made up the cost by adding the other 2 books (because that makes sense right :p) Anyway I'd argue that they're all pretty good purchases, God of War has a few unused designs and Assassin's Creed has a lot of concept art.
I've been taking over recently as a resident Vita lover (we're a dying breed), 2 more physical games added.
Donkey Kong was an impulse purchase, never played the original and having lots of (frustrating) fun so far.
Finally for the "and more" part of the thread a few of my most recent CD purchases (an even more dead format than the Vita tbh), especially proud of my Oceans of Slumber album which I got the band to sign for me when I went to see the live a few weeks ago.

@NovumAngel nice acquisitions, dude. Dat TR artbook!

And Congrats for the ps4 bundle, even though I'm not a fan of thelook of this pro.
Thanks!

Hoping for a nice one for the new TR as well given the box art.

And yeah I'll admit that the design itself isn't amazing but it does look pretty good as a standout to all the other black consoles I have.

Received them today:

From left to Right

  • Hatsune Miku Project Diva Future Tone DX
  • Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth
  • Game Paradise
The first is simply a physical collection of the digital rendition of both project Diva psp games video clips and the Arcade ones, with some plus songs

Utawarerumono is the sequence to Mask of Deception and it is a visual novel with some SRPG parts (like Sakura Wars and most of Aqua Plus games). The first one was awesome so I couldn't lose sight of this one after a sale.

Game Paradise is simply a Remastered edition of the game of same name for SEGA Saturn. Good shoot'em up, with unique theme. Had to bite it as soon as it released. I have a thing for the genre.

Well this happened, the idea of this game just kinda grew on me, the content is a little sparse as its been said around the message boards on Gaf, but wow did Rare ever nail the physics for sailing and the feel of the ocean. I've played just single player captaining my own single sloot but I've had a blast. Collected a few treasures, started to get alot better with charting my missions on the map and sailing my ship to the destination using the sail properly. There are alot of things to this game as simple as they are but they all really add to the experience. I've had a couple of fights with other ships, boarded another ship, got eaten by sharks trying to stay them off with a treasure chest I found, gotten drunk then had another ship attack me as I staggered to my cannons on deck and patch the holes in my ship as my character was throwing up.

If Rare adds more content as promised this could be an amazing game, lets hope it gets the love and support it deserves from Rare and the community. I will say I'm missing the crew singing from Assassin's Creed: Black Flag when I'm sailing around tho.

I preordered the PS4 version of Dark Souls then decided I wanted the Switch version. I opened my door today and saw a package sitting there. Upon opening it I realized I never actually canceled my PS4 order. I guess I am playing this game this weekend.

Awesome purchases, mainly that Xenoblade Chronicle 2 OST.

I had my share of purchases in the recent days (i'm sorry for pictures' quality, my main camera is malfunctioning, so had to rely on my old cellphone):

Let's go over them:

  • Dj Max Respect: I am a huge fan of this franchise dating back to the very first. So, a must-buy for me, and I still am looking forward to Musyncx for Switch

  • Atelier Lydie & Suelle: The same following i have for Dj Max applies to Atelier series, but dating back to the PS2 series. Been enjoying this new arch so far, but still am sad they gave up on the Atelier Firis formula. Really dig it

  • Dark Rose Valkyrie: It was cheap and i am a fan of Fujishima character design. Loved Megami Sama and You're Under Arrest, and guess what? I'm hyping the shit up of Shin Sakura Wars

  • Yakuza 6: I don't care for what people say about this entry. Yakuza 6 is fucking AMAZING. I had no problems with the lil techincal hassles or even the (minimum) decreased number of minigames. The game still is crowded with awesome substories, a competent main story and a bunch of nice minigames. Chating with pornstars through webcam and afterwards going to a Club SEGA to play OutRun is nuts.

  • Horizon Chase Turbo: A total revamped redesign remake of the entry for mobile phones. 4k assets, spetacular OST and incredibly addicting arcadey (snes and monaco gp genesis style) gameplay with a lot of stuff to do and 4 players splitscreen. Here in Brazil, this game is being published by Sony themselves, and it is very cheap, despite the fucking huge quality it has.

  • Attak on Titan 2: Guys, thought this would be just a samey experience to the first one, but in fact it seems like a sequence of a first party title (it is a jump like Sonic Adventure 1 to 2 graphically and content-wise), and the fact you have participation as a custom character, the managing of skills, the series of submissions, new techniques, and all the second season being there is worth the buy.

  • Idolmaster Gravure related stuff: So far i have bought six of them (3 with special editions) because it was really cheap, and i like platinum trophies (and these take like what? 10 minute to get them).

  • Girls und Panzer DTM: This is legit a good fresh game. It follow all the series up until the movie. It controlls great, it has charisma (well, it is based on GuP lol) and the online works really well despite the ping.

Yakuza 6 really is amazing. Also with the new engine, the graphics and lack of loading screens make it so much more immersive. Not since Shenmue 1 has a game really immersed me into believing I'm in Japan...

Have you tried the First Person View in Onomichi? It is incredible.

Yeah, 50 Temers, at first I thought it was a pricing error and then I started seeing it everywhere for that price. I'm definitely going to pick it up soon, I saw some YT gameplay and it looks like Top Gear and that's all I need.

I'd love to see more games coming out for that price.

I definitely did some shopping last weekend to kick off June, I finally upgraded my 500GB launch PS4 to a PS4 Pro and I couldn't be happier with the decision, my Onyx EB Edge card got me an extra $30 for the trade-in and I took full advantage of the PS4 Pro's price drop during Sony Days of Play sale for $449.99 CAD. Also had picked up these Cuphead vinyls in May, not pictured is the New Sony Wireless Gold Headset, needed a wireless one although I still prefer the comfort of the HyperX Cloud II's but they've been nice with the 7.1 surround sound. Also not pictured from the Sony Days of Play sale Gran Turismo Sport and Destiny 2.

Since I don't have plans to play most of the AAA shite on PC, bought 1060 with 6 GB VRAM to play everything else for at least one year or so and then we'll see what happens:)

Also bought FE: Echoes LE and I think it's the right game to start before release of the new game on Switch next year and also cuz I'm extremely LTTP and physical version of Awakening and Fates sold out everywhere in my country :(

More than enough for most games:)
Sorry, pay no mind to me. When I posted I was o the cellphone almost sleeping.

Just like mine so, I have a Galaxy One. It works wonders on me, it just pisses me off how Overwatche used to run "better" in my terrible 750ti, and how the game got incredibly demanding

Night.Ninja

One really creepy thing I do is just repeatedly shit on GAF while sarcastically calling it a "top tier gaming forum" so feel free to report me if I keep doing this.
