I actually like Nirolak for his topics that always provide those interesting details on gaming that you don't think of. But that's just one aspect ofcourse. I don't know much about his other stuff, but his threads usually are ace, a very valueable resource if you ask me.

I don't love it.

The aforementioned mod used to be on the level and I had known him online since I was 14. His old bans were not abusive that I've seen. I did put care into the mod selection process. When shit hit the fan, everyone acted irrationally and I shut down since I knew I was emotionally compromised and not able to mod in an unbiased way, but I would've been the best person to handle this stuff fairly and steer my team better (other than the heroic folks who stuck around and are still here). Ultimately it's my error in judgment and personal weakness that is responsible for all of it.

Re: the ads, that's the ad industry sucking and our bad ad countermeasures inevitably being circumvented over time. My ad team will get back to me shortly and we'll get things sorted out. Bad ads here are not acceptable.

I can't say i disagree with that, but the more prevalent use of the word has been used to describe "Beta Males" and "White Knights" One can argue it might be the new term for "Beta Males" in itself.
I don't call other men Betas, I call them Bitches, if it suits them. That's how you get a real man fired up, when you want to insult him. With that said, I don't do that and wouldn't want to unless things got extremely heated and to be sure, I attempt to avoid confrontation if I can help it.
