Hello NeoGAF! Happy New Year! Here's to another year of pick-up posts!
It can be a drain on the wallet, sure... but it can also be a reminder of things I want (or don't want).
It brings people together with common interests and it is a way for me to chronicle my journey as a gamer & individual as the years go by.
You know... I first started this thread back in 2006 with a clear goal to see REAL photos (not something I can google online) because I wanted to see the personality & individuality in what we all like.

Spent most of my January in Tokyo for work (Evo Japan!!!), as such, I didn't get that many pickups like I normally would. Either way, it was an amazing trip and I'm happy to be back home for a few days...
PlayStation X AAPE screen wipe decals.
I traveled a lot in 2017. Ding'd American Airlines AAdvantage / One World Alliance Executive Platinum again (since 2008).
pen+ Street Fighter II tribute mook (magazine/book) & King of Games Super Famicom shirt!
A fun pick-up... running the first Evo Championship Series (competitive gaming tournament/convention) in Tokyo, Japan!
Went to the DRAGON BALL cafe in Harajuku and got some souvenirs!
I'm a big fan of Shadowverse... so I was stoked to see UFO catcher/crane games with some of the leader waifus from the game. Had to win them all no matter how much it cost! T_T
Met with SNK while in Japan and Ogura-san drew some original artwork of Geese Howard, dedicated to me! :O
My girlfriend also came to Japan and surprised me when she arrived... a pair of sneakers I failed at getting! She got the Heiress Air Jordan XI for me, in my size!
Some classic gems from early 1994. Final Fantasy VI gacha/keychains... One of my favorite Final Fantasy games!
Had dinner with my pal Kenny Omega! My friends & I also had a brief cameo on the latest 'Being the Elite' episode, "Complicated"
Evo Japan 2018 was featured in one of Japan's most circulated/popular news publication!
DRAGON BALL FighterZ Kit from the friends at Bandai Namco Entertainment! This game is serious!
My friends at Square Enix sent a care package of DISSIDIA FINAL FANTASY NT for my entire crew!
Limited Run Games! Physical, physical of Double Dragon IV! (I also got Windjammers - not pictured)...
