Did a google search and confirmed in game, he needs to be added to my 40 man roster manually (I thought being on the major league roster automatically puts the player on the secondary roster, guess not).

I fixed it, it will go through in the next update. Did you try importing your team file?

It's one of the options under "Available Actions" in the same menu where you export your file.

Importing your file imports the last file you exported.

That's weird... so I download the league file, which had the trade okay, adjust my team based on that league file, then export the team and that doesn't work?

So strange.

So really the process is "Import League File" -> "Import Team File" -> adjust team -> "Export Team File"?

Thanks for fixing all that. I'll be sure to do this right in the future.

Importing your file imports the last file you exported.

Honestly have no idea where this is. I always go File -> Online League -> Download Latest League file or Export team via FTP

You could set your various GM settings to AI control to auto-handle certain aspects for you while you're out.
