I'm interested to see how the auto draft/scout handles signability. When going against the computer you can often get decent talent in the mid rounds because guys drop due to signability.

Although I never give in to guys in the 17th round who want million dollar bonuses.

Ha, yeah. I had about six "Impossible" guys, all of whom were rated as garbage by my scout, which begs the question of why draft them, but anyway. I loved the dude rated a 21 potential asking for $3 million, and "losing patience" with me. It would be amusing if there was a "LOL, fuck off" response in the negotiation screen.

I honestly wanted to do a live draft but kinda like how you suggested. Do it the week before and we all just post who we want. I mean if we're GMs I figure that should be something we directly pick.

Scouting is at your employee's mercy. Just having him make his best guess, amongst opponents, falling in different rounds, seems to be the best method. Actually going round for round looking for diamonds in the rough would take forever.

I don't think it was drafted based on our scouts, I think it was based on OSA. My guys suck!

Sure, as long as you are willing to input all 600 picks.

The only issue is that the game is bugged with allowing our own scouts to populate the lists. Hopefully by the time of the next draft that will be fixed. If not, I'll definitely be taking the time to create my own lists.

Doing the whole thing, or even anywhere close, would be nuts, obviously. But the first 2-3 rounds is feasible.

I guess hopefully this will be a one time thing with it being shitty. I suppose if nothing else, for the next draft we know it's shitty and that people unfortunately need to build out their lists more if it isn't fixed.

Oh shit, I really lucked out on my first 5 picks if my scout ratings are to be believed. I may have to spend a lot for this batch. The latter half of my draft all have crappy ratings and are listed as Impossible anyway, so they can take my crappy offers and go off to school.
