When: Saturday, March 16 to ???

Rules:

  1. Single elimination.
  2. Best of three races.
  3. Racers will have a 24 hour period to coordinate their matches with their opponents, either via PM's, this thread, IM, etc. Choose a time both of you can play. If you can't find the time, please forfeit, otherwise if both participants can't find a time both may be disqualified.
  4. Even if a CPU places first in the race, whichever player came out ahead will be the one who "won" the race.
Prize: A special tag lauding your victory next to your every post! The tag is to be determined, but will be similar in theme to Haunted's old "Champion of the People" tag that he won from the Mario Strikers Charged tourney.

  • joolswatsham (Bye)
Round 4:
  • joolswatsham vs. Colonel Mustard

Just got it cleared with the mods: the winner of the tournament will get a cool tag! Considering how rare taggings are these days, I think that's a pretty awesome prize. :D

After you're signed up just wait until the matchups are posted, then share your 3DS FC with your opponent and coordinate your match. :)

Blame the Euro ratings boards for taking forever. :(

I'll see if we can put on another tourney after the Euro version releases, if there's interest.

So, we have a unique opportunity here. Although no individual can decide what the tag should be, we can however come to a consensus. The rules: it has to be somewhat related to the tourney, text only, and around 100 characters.

My suggestion: Wild Member, but that's kinda terrible so I was hoping you guys would have a better idea. =/

Maybe just let the winner pick their own tag, assuming it's approved by a mod first.
