New version (2.1) available for Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Fixes for some Imgur GIFs not working properly.

Chrome and Firefox extensions should update automatically. Safari users may need to download the new version and install manually.

I still wonder why there has been no effort to actually implement this as part of the site itself. Seems to be a logical addition to improve everyone's browsing experience completely transparently.
