OK, lets vote on the name:

If someone can also post the link in-game as a MOTD, would be nice. I'll be online only in like 12 hours.
These lockboxes are getting on my nerves now, 3 professions packs in a row.
Yea, my luck is also over after the patch. Almost like they tuned the drop rates...

Also Jacob get your ass away from studies and change the guild name in the next few days![]()
Going to have to PM jacob. Just had a leader in Somewhat Serious PM me asking where our leader was and wanting to know why the guild stronghold was set to invite only. I assume that is something setup wrong that means people can't visit/contribute to our SH?
I log on and shocker! Even though we just upgraded I cannot donate to anything except campaign related resources, again.
Other guilds still got their stuff locked to their own members only.
I got tired of my inventory being full of resources I can never donate so deleted them all, and since I needed them to advance in gear I pretty much just gave myself reason to stop playing.

The new name suggestions are all terrible.
Just because the guild has gaffers in it doesn't mean the letters need spell GAF. Lot of members of it aren't even from Gaf.
Letting people to our Stronghold is ok but we don't really want people donating to our coffer because it means all the other guilds, who happen to be stuffed to the max for most resources aside from a few campaign ones, gets to fill ours instead, which is in the same boat.
I mentioned this in guild chat, and whoever said we only need 3k guild marks for DF gear is wrong, it's 36000 needed for the main 4 parts alone, nevermind if want the other bits and never mind other stuff that is wanted on top of that.
Campaign resources are limited and don't give much, while the quests from the stronghold are maxed resources. At current rate of relying on campaign resources it would take months, never mind finding the time to actually do the quests for the resources.
We aren't only ones not sharing.

Should I only donate to our guild, or should I donate to the "Something Serious" thing, too? I'm confused what I'm looking at in the new screen!
Well, surprisingly, PS4 Pro upscales Neverwinter to 4K better than my TV was doing it, so it looks cleaner. Frame rate is the same (crappy), but at least something. And loading is a bit faster I think, didn't have time to test it a lot yesterday. What is your experience, Brannus?
That Neverwinter Siege event drops a lot of blue SH vouchers, hopefully we can upgrade the Quarry soon, missing only equipment and Fey trinkets. Do it people.![]()
Is the Siege on Neverwinter a recurring event or is this new? Sorta just came outta nowhere. Was a nice little surprise.
first ran from September 18th, 2014 to September 25th, 2014. A second run ran from January 15th, 2015 to January 22nd, 2015. A third run took place from May 12, 2016 to May 26, 2016.
After that we can finally reach GH5 and unlock first boon building. Any thoughts what it should be? Not barracks, I guess, we do not PvP enough fot it.
I'd have to go and see what boons are even available. I'm guessing we'd pick the one that benefits the most people?
Yea, we probably will need to put a vote on it. Here is the overview:

I think Stable would probably be the best, Temple second choice, Explorers guild - third.
Are all 3 of the Defender classes good at tanking? Not sure which tank I want to roll up right now. I kinda wanna play Paladin, but they can be boring sometimes with less abilities. I also kinda wanna play the Great Weapon Fighter, but they can be bad at tanking sometimes, haha.

Well both guardian fighters and paladins make excellent tanks. One has buffs and the other has more survivability. It really boils down to which you enjoy playing more. I've always thought of GWFs as a pure DPS class that can take a few more hits but nowhere in the same league as the other two.
Yeah it seems the order that the defender part is listed is important. It's first on the Paladin and Guardian, but second on the Great Weapon dude.
I played both Paladin and Guardian up to 5 to get a little bit of a feel, I like both so far. The healing circle is cool and the warp attack are neat on the Paladin, but I also like the slash and shield bash on the Guardian.
I'm probably gonna go Guardian, because I will be playing with a Rogue Warlock and Cleric, so having dungeoneering would be nice. I don't like the shield being on left click though, it feels weird.
End game paladins are complaining about lack of agro holding tools and further planned nerf in 10.5, so GF is a safer choice for a pure tank.
For those that didn't hear me yesterday in guild chat, a word of warning here. SwS will make their SH invite only as soon as they hit GH12, which is in 2-4 days. You can still ask any Rank5,6 or 7 for the invite to be able to buy DF armor, and they will most likely lift the restriction when they do DF events, but generally it will be more inconvenient now.
The reason is that they want to have a first night advantage on mastercraft materials maps. Selling those materials will make them rich if you control the supply, which they intend to do for some time.
Seeing how huge their investment was to reach GH12 in the first place, I'm ok with it. For one of the elite guilds on PS4, they are rather good bunch and fun to play with.
And yea, jacob armitage, where the hell are you gone? And what have you done to KoE leader which is now MiA for like 3 weeks?Come back and play a bit, guild chat is too quiet.

Well I had a crap double Refinement. Had enough to get another mythic artifact but didn't realise the free artifact from the seer girl capped at purple.......fed two level 59's into it and only hit Legendary due to that major screw up. ='(
Anyways what should I be stocking up on for 10.5? What are these item maps people are talking about, are they in game already? If so how do you get them?
Oh btw Audio I had your thought to just wait till lvl25 to make my own armour kits but I ended up doing that and you rarely break even and usually wind up losing like $20K making them yourself. They are a slow selling item so major undercutting is common preventing profit. So you're better off just buying them.
Ha, you l33t 3k+ lot, I just managed to lvlup last blue item (artefact cloak). Ended up close to 2800, but not quite there. Not even thinking of mythic yet, maybe next 2x event I'll be ready for it.
Although the GAF guild isn't the most active and in general it seems like many people quit NW once it comes to end game. It is incredibly grindy and dungeon loot drops are terrible.
Why are you guys doing random queues when we have a huge alliance to get people from?
Might take just as long to get a group going but once you get one you'll run things far quicker and most will plan on doing multiple runs.
Despite a huge alliance there are only so many people online at once, and still have the DPS problem with people asking for tanks and healers a lot. Plus I noticed some regular people only run stuff with the same few people and generally don't raid otherwise.
I usually just start asking for people myself to avoid the DPS struggle, tends to work well enough.
