Well, hello Capcom-Unity!

I am your new Associate Online/Community Specialist here at Capcom U.S.A. It is my pleasure and honor to be joining the already awesome Online Community team and serving you, the Community, in any way I can.

Although my Capcom-Unity page says "Member since 2008", I've been a member of the Capcom community since it was only the Capcom BBS.

I actually joined as a user specifically to inquire (read: complain) about the situation regarding Monster Hunter 2 (dos) Western release back in 2005/06 - so I know exactly how it feels to be lacking a new MH game for a while... patience is a virtue, right? Eventually it pays off somehow... we'll have something veeeeery soon ;)

Anyways, I ended up become really active in the community, and for a while directed the Monster Hunter Club on DeviantArt (which I sadly had to give up in order to pursue higher education). Later I was invited to attend Capcom's first Captivate, in 2008, and since then I have always felt a special connection to both ends of the community.

One little detail to add here is that I am originally from Brazil, and as you may have heard Sven mention, we will definitely get more involved with our Brazilian fans... and I'm here to help with that too.

Now here I am; a serious Monster Hunter fan from Brazil, working with Capcom, but ultimately working for the benefit of the community! It is one of my goals to build even more bridges between our teams here and you as well as make you feel welcome and heard! So, let me be your voice here, and let the following picture serve as some sort of proof of my dedication to Monster Hunter, which may be helpful after all.

Oh boy, more teasing of announcements. Who doesn't love that!? Surely this wont end poorly.

I'm sure the news is something like, "MH is for fucking basement nerds, here guise, more Street Fighter."

"I am pleased to announce that all future Monster Hunter titles will be Japan-only. That's what I was teasing."

Timing is so perfect. Capcom will be selling that MH Nendroid in the West for sure.

J/K.
It's probably gonna be old MH game available on PSN.

Except the west outside of a minor niche doesn't want Monster Hunter. So, uh...?

Monster Hunter themed console cases.

"See guys? We brought Monster Hunter to your portables. And guess what? They're being sold outside of Japan too!"

I swear, if the announcement is for a future announcement and not a game, I'm going to set up a Monster Hunter base camp on Capcom's front lawn and start grilling aptonoth steaks. They're going to smell delicious and I won't share any with the employees until I get some answers.
