LAMBO said:1. it won't run the mods better
2. plug your pc into your tv.
3. morrowind xbox sure as hell wasn't more stable.
LAMBO said:You can settle for less if you like, but not me. If you really like a game, it's pretty cool when it keeps growing. I'm not saying it's too small, I'm saying it can NEVER get too big.
Also i remember alot of wishful thinking that bethsheda was going to allow some modding for xbox morrowind, never happened. The best extra content was created by the fans, and i don't you'll ever see fan-made mods on Live for any game. Bethsheda will probably put expansion packs on Live but that's about it i think.
SnakeXs said:3) Frame rate wise, it sure was. Back then many a friends had a great rig and the Xbox version, while not looking as good, was way more steady. Now that the 360 version looks BETTER, what's to make me think anything's changed?
Well we don't really know that.Mejilan said:You're on crack. You're misguided on all counts.
SnakeXs said:1) Doesn't bother me. I've been there done thatw ith mods. They're tiny extras for me, and barely get a hint of my attention. With a massive game like this, a few extra items, and WOW COOL things doesn't add much.
2) K, but I still won't have my sound or be nearly as comfortable as I would be, plus I prefer a controller, which is part of the comfort. Not to mention the huge hastle.

Well Bethesda already expressed a desire to offer expansions through Xbox Live. I sincerely doubt they'll ignore their 360 fanbase, at worst probably one or two releases.LAMBO said:bethsheda is going to Release offical expansions, so me and the devs disagree with you.
LAMBO said:1. Your huge loss(and millions of others, i never had the delusion that mods are made for the masses), I just wanted to let people that they exist, and how great they are. You say the game to big enough, but
2. I thought the xbox pad was Pc compatable? And you could plug your sound into your 5.1 stereo right(i really don't know, i have 2 big loudspeakers)?
3. The damn game crashed, deleted your saves, lost your items. But if the framrate is what you're defination of stable is then yes, you needed a good pc for the xbox version's framerate.
FallenOne666 said:There won't be any worthwhile mods for a very long time. By then, the graphic cards necessary to run this game at a level and quality equal to the x360 version will be a lot cheaper (right now, they are close to the price of the x360 itself). So then and only then will the PC version really be worth it.
SnakeXs said:And, has been said, I'm sure if Bethesda's so excited over XB Live and delivering contest, it wouldn't be beyond them or MS to release patches for any serious game flaws SHOULD they arise.

Graphics whores are ruining gaming..
SnakeXs said:Yeah, we could tell all that from a series of PC clips that was in German.
0.o And here i was worried that my video card cant handle it. XD
call me when they invent these newfound methods of media where they can incorporate every aspect of your list for ones full pleisure. oh, what's that? it's called playing the game is it?Gantz said:Whatever happened to intriguing stories, unforgettable characters, emersive gameplay etc.? Deg said:Too bad you can do all that better on a pc.![]()
SnakeXs said:You didn't even read it all...
Go take your PC Pseudo-elitism elsewhere, Deg.
Bebpo said:Now can we get back to normal?
Deg said:I did. Your argument is perfectly valid.
If you want to spend a ton of money for a PC game, and don't have an existing home theater or 360, then you go for the pc version. Simple.
That, along with the insane Morrowind-style modding that's sure to come, is why the PC version of Oblivion is the only one I'm considering. Release day can't come soon enough.LAMBO said:3. The damn game crashed, deleted your saves, lost your items.
Bebpo said:Btw, what's the latest release date for the X360 one? Is it still looking likely for March?

SnakeXs said:Sorry, I had to, but it's fixed now.
it's pc vs console based on love of consoles and hate of PC gaming and vice versa.
Deg said:Fixed what? You only make yourself look more silly because of your little insecurity.
True. There is nothing wrong with getting the console version, i have done it myself on occasion. But dont try to say console gaming > pc gaming for a game like this on a place like GAF or you will get chewed up.
SnakeXs said:Tell me where I posted anything false and then talk.
And, I never said anything's wrong with the PC verion, either. You're the one saying if you want second, slick. I've said why the PC version isn't for me/doesn't appeal to me. I didn't say anyone else was wrong for going that route. So, \yeah, take y our generalizations elsewhere.

Deg said:"1)If you want to spend a ton of money for a PC game"
Pc games are less than half the price of 360 games (UK). Although my point strictly is the 'best possible experience'.
"2), and don't have an existing home theater or 360, then you go for the pc version. Simple."
Audio is much superior in pc games. Surround sound is also superior with many more options than console gaming. 7.1 sound is a common feature. Some games like Civilization IV include 8.1 support.
lets see here:
