Third shot looks pretty good as well. The others look a bit..."less good". Guess we'll have to wait for the final version as it seems too inconsistent atm, IMO

The water looks like you're in a health-spa wavepool, not an island oasis.

Having said that, it still looks pretty damn cool. If the water moves and contorts as good as it looks in still shots... that's pretty incredible. Blur effects look pretty decent too. Character models? Not so much...

I'm excited for this.

He's not supposed to be "on fire", the player is using one of his powers (animal instincts) so you can follow his smell trail.

Looks good to me. Loved enjoyed te PC game, I loved the XBox game (story was pretty good), and I can't wait tosampe this on the XBox360. The map/level editor alone is more than worth it for me.

Uh.. There is no PC version of either Instincts or Predator. The original (Instincts) is a different game than Far Cry for PC.

I understood what you meant... but it isn't the same game. If you've never played Instincts for Xbox there's no guarantee you'll like either Instincts or Predator for 360.

A lot of the "freedom" from Far Cry(PC) was taken away in Instincts (Xbox), but quite a bit was added as well. The action in Instincts is also more compressed (see action packed) since you don't spend much of your time wondering all over the place. Not to mention that Instincts (Xbox) added feral powers (super strength, speed, regeneration, animal senses etc) to your character and the storyline changes that go with them.

Neither Ghost Recon or The Outfit are FPS... but considering the Xbox had it's fair share of them, it's not that surprising that the 360 would have quite a bit as well.

I pass on most 10/10 games unless I have trade credit saved up. Oblivion is my last purchase for a long time.

But if I had money to burn, I would but this and plenty of others, sure.

The water on the 360 version looks substantially better. No contest. I also noticed that (even though clips are no way to judge a game's frame rate) the game on the 360 is smooth. Like 60fps smooth.

It's two games in one. The package comes with Instincts (upgraded port) and Predator (sequel to Instincts).

Graphically it looks great. I really liked Farcy on the PC, but I hope instincts addresses some of the problems. For me, the AI and pacing just got repetetive and at times frustratingly challenging. Plus the story could be more developed.
