Did they ever stop making games or did they go away then come back? Can... can we possibly get another "actual" VG game instead of, say, the crappy VN porn that came out with Adventure up to Neo?

Exactly! So many of them had fantastic designs. Ayumi needs to be a real character and not stuck in VN hell.
I actually appreciate current art more now that I see that.

Yes. TGL doesn't make original titles (read: all-ages, obviously they are making games at GIGA) anymore tho, they mostly just publish console ports (and all-ages Windows versions) of games from their adult brand, GIGA (the one that made VG). They've recently expanded to publishing console ports of games by other developers. And GIGA is alive and well and has been for many years.
The publishing of GIGA games on consoles actually has changed hands more than once. Initially TGL did the console ports, but then Alchemist took over for a few years, before TGL started publishing them again.
Oh and by the way, the game that box is for is Kiss Ato, which is a GIGA game, released for Windows in 2014.

Amazing, they are getting a bunch of old PS2 visual novels, getting some new art for the box, throwing in a CD or a mousemat and selling them for full price. Great to see Vita being kept alive, but.. notlikethis.gif

It's actually originally a Windows game. Not sure if the Vita version is based on that or the PS2/PSP versions. It's GIGA so it's probably a good VN.
Whoah! That's some top-tier boxart right there. Really hope we get this cover. I'm sure we can trust Atlus to use it.

I'm excited for #FE above, but seeing this cover reminded me how excited I am for Setsuna. One of my most anticipated games, for sure. Beautiful cover, too.
I hope they keep this cover for the Western versions.
Wow, we ended up actually getting the better cover this time! I was never the biggest fan on the original TP cover, but the HD cover in the west is very nice
This feels like a cut 'n paste with adding in a few more things. However if this was what the original cover looked like, I would prefer it much more than having just Link and the Wolf.MichMasteR
