Looks cool.

Steal my ride if old.

The trailer on the WB Games UK channel confirms the delay in the last seconds.

Press release for context:
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released the Official Mad Max Game - Magnum Opus Trailer, showcasing how players can customize their vehicles.
The trailer will be premiering on TV via West Coast Customs on Sunday, April 27 at 7 p.m. PDT on FOX Sports 2, following the debut of the Magnum Opus, Max’s in-game vehicle.

The real-life version of the Magnum Opus was designed with the West Coast Customs automotive specialists and features a high-performance engine, killer tires, a suspension system built to handle the Wasteland terrain and much more. Check out the included one-sheet to learn all about the West Coast Customs vehicle build-out and how the real-life Magnum Opus vehicle showcases some key Players’ in-game options.

Set to release in 2015, Mad Max delivers open world gameplay in a post-apocalyptic setting where cars are the key to survival. Developed by Avalanche Studios, gamers become Mad Max, a lone warrior who must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using vicious on-ground and vehicular combat against savage gangs of bandits. Following the theft of his iconic Interceptor, Max must align himself with a gifted, but peculiar, mechanic named Chumbucket and others to build the ultimate war vehicle as he works to escape from the dangerous Wasteland.

So this is essentially an open world Destruction Derby with on foot sections?

If they've nailed the handling and weight of the vehicles....

Pretty shitty they took an Australian character in the Australian outback and just slapped it in America. Now it just looks like Rage or something.

IIRC they said he was going to have an Aussie accent (think this was post E3 last year)

That voice over at the start ain't him (I hope).

Exactly, they REALLY need to get the physics right for it to work.

Something like the next car games physics ( both crashing and driving) would be incredible.

But, I very much doubt it. Only devs to give a shit about open world driving is Rockstar and mafia 2 devs...

I'm confused. Is this supposed to be a Twisted Metal type of game, or is there more to it?

What a mysterious jogo.

Hopefully they start ramping up advertising for this. At the moment it looks like Just Cause in the desert with upgradable cars and no planes, boats, or grappling hook.

I'd expect it to be great considering Just Cause 2, but the lack of info revealed so far is a bit worrying.

CGI bullshit is the death knell of cinema
Nice to see a car combat game again, they did really hammer the west coast customs though.

Bizarrely out of place in such a post apocalyptic setting.

I'm negative interested in this game. I've gone from entirely not caring to dispising this game's existence.

Who at Avalanche thought this was a better idea than Just Cause 3?

The graphics look pretty impressive. I don't know what else to say at this point, there's been so little information about the game.

People do realize that Mel Gibson isn't Australian, right? And that neither is Tom Hardy, for that matter?

They're working on multiple games. And one of those is quite clearly Just Cause 3

New installment in a very well-known game series. The game is being developed at Avalanche Studios New York studio and is scheduled for completion in 2015 for next generation console platforms.

There was no way they weren't going to release the game alongside the upcoming movie. 2015 it is.

I'm not much of a Mad Max fan but even that just seems wrong to me.
