Just an FYI, playing the demo for 15 or so hours and yet to see a single one of these bugs.

I give EA props for having the balls to release a demo. Not hide up until release day with nothing more than a roster update and 3D mouthguards like 2K.

Live is solid this year for anyone who refuses to give the demo a chance. There's finally competition again (they even outdo 2K in visuals) and 2K have to start working again after a few years off.

Lol ayo leave EA alone on this one lol. To be fair it is a demo, hopefully a day one patch can have these discovered glitches fixed. I give them props for at least making a relevant basketball game this year.

The models I've seen for this game aren't doing it any favors in terms of visuals.

Tried the demo and I saw the last glitch as well, opponent not facing the basket while shooting, at a weird angle and it still goes in like it was scripted...

Bugs aside, they still have a lot of strides to do in all areas of the game. The commentary is just so bad it's laughable, especially Jalen Rose segment.

Only thing they got over 2K is bench players warmups, and towels, rest is just plain bad and looks 3-4 years behind the competition.

visuals? I'm assuming you mean lighting and the stadiums because holy fuck are the player models still UGGGLLLYYYYY.

Sorry there still is no competition to 2k this year. 2K this year has insanely stepped up. It's like when live starts making strides 2K just drops a shit load of content. They know they are coming....but if 2k keeps making such an amazing myCareer mode....yes, its not happening.


Also the framerate makes online terrible. shit stutters and jitters all over the damn place.

So that cherry picked bunch of players (again, from a build that is free to try and NOT final) with the bad faces is what you link?

The faces on a whole are better in Live this year. And the models in general are much better (before they animate). Much more realistic, athletic looking players. 2K's models are like what you'd expect if the Gears of Wars characters took off their armour and stepped on a court. Live has much more realistic skin tones, better muscle tones, better variation in body shapes, higher resolution and more accurate tattoos and better facial animation.

Many of their animations are poor but the models themselves are first class finally.

Meh, I'm not going to argue with someone who thought NBA Live 14 was a better game than 2K14. But.....its pretty obvious that Live still needs a ton of work just by playing the demo. Also Barea, Redick, Bledsoe and Miller is cherry picking? They are all veterans!

You do know 2K body scanned some players this year? How the hell are Live models more accurate? Have you seen Lebron? Also, "before they animate"? So we just looking at still pics and not playing a bball game?

Not all faces are well done in 2K but just taking a look at these and it's looking great.

The models and animations definitely improved. But still far away from 2k (Not being a fanboy but I loved live til 04').

That dunking Speights is really scary and lol at the Love free throw. Haha.

Even though I prefer 2K, now you're just being ridiculously hyperbolic.

It's a good looking game in a subsection of the sports genre with only one major form of competition in the industry, no need to be a pompous ass and spew hyperbole over your preference.

Basketball fans have a choice in what they want in their game and what series they choose to play and that's nothing but a good thing.

I used to love 2K, but got tired of playing the same old shit with the same old bugs and glitches so I gave up a couple years back.

Hopefully Live makes a resurgence, but from the demo I played at my brothers place.............it's not there yet.

The visuals are not as good in motion, and I do prefer 2K's models this year. Animations are not as good as 2K's, and the game still feels a bit off to me in the shooting aspect and defense.

I'll give them a shot in a couple of years once they catch up, but for now I'll stay basketball game-less.
