While that's true (and would be hilarious), there's a basic understanding that Persona 5 will come to something at some point. What made Bayonetta 2's announcement so spectacular was the fact that there was a general understanding that it - and in turn, the series - was completely dead.
yeah, Bayo 2 (IMO) actually was an excellent choice as a Wii U exclusive.
Persona 5 just wouldn't make any sense, especially considering the recent sales of P4-Arena and Persona 4: The Golden on Sony platforms, not to mention the game has already (allegedly) been in development for a couple years now.
I wouldn't be surprised at a Wii U
release for P5, but no way as an exclusive... and before anyone brings up the FFVII coup of '96, the situations wouldn't be even remotely similar.
A WiiU F-Zero, Pilotwings, or SimCity (with that Japanese Nintendo flavor ala the SNES version) might push me towards a WiiU purchase.
A StarTropics resurrection would be amazing, too.
