1) ALL REPLAY SHOTS. Yawn. *meh*
2) THE TIRES ARENT ROUND. LOOK AT THEM.... they aren't even trying to use bezier curves or anything. If they are using quadratics, it is one of the worst quadratic approximation of a circle I have ever seen in an xbox game.
great contribution to this threadMerlin said:This game is a gay.

you have to either see it in motion or play it to get it. i mean its like cool replays w/ lots of effects, but you are playing it. the ultimate graphic whore game.Mama Smurf said:I haven't played the orignal, or even seen it in motion, so take that into account. But the screenshots don't impress me. They're fine, there's no disappointment, they're just...not as great as some of you seem to be saying.

and you are complaining about low-poly tires that you don't recognise during gameplay anyway?
tetsuoxb said:Yes I am. They arent just low poly... they are damn near octagons. It is unacceptable to have a game look that good and cut an obvious corner on the car models. I bet it does something stupid like render something you cant see except in extremes (like the legs of the people in the cars) and the tradeoff was stop signs for wheels.
It looks pretty. The shaders are nice. However, there is no way in hell that is the prettiest game for the xbox until they fix the wheels. Then you might have a valid argument.
nitewulf said:thing about wrekless is, it overwhelms you with post processed effects, blur, depth of field, bloom, sparks, haze you name it. even the physics engine was impressive with independent suspension, cars toppling, wobbling etc.
thats why it looks so stylish and well, good.
in the still shots the low poly count becomes more apparent however.
olimario said:I'm sorry guys, but that hurts my eyes. Too much blur and the models in focus aren't that spectacular. I was more impressed with PGR2 and RSC2.
