Regarding the presentation on the 16th, it'd be interesting if Sony prepared a small trailer showcasing their PS4 exclusives with their respective enhancements.
A small 30 seconds to 1 minute trailer would suffice! But considering the limited time, I'm sure they will have so much new things to show in such little time, that giving up time to showcase current-gen games would be Microsoft-esque strategy, and I'm pretty sure no one wants that lol

Probably, but I don't think it is $50 cheaper. If Sony could sell the PlayStation 5 at $449 (without a huge loss on each unit) it would be great, but I don't think that $479 or $489 would make a big difference.

No it's sad so many go from bragging SSD this exclusives that now think Sony should be under cutting Microsoft in price. Ffs believe in your product and hype it can cost more and easily get 70% plus market share. All a cheap price does is burn money. This is the same Sony who has a 90 year old ps4 at 299.99.

Not happening, if they wanna even get close to full CU utilization, it’s better to just stick with 36 CUs. One spec bump I would welcome is that memory bandwidth upgrade on the same bus width.So what are peoples thoughts on the PS5 having 38CUs maybe.
(timestamped, less CUs means it’s much more easier to leverage for parallel computation)

The PCB and RAM cost differences are very likely negligible. I think the reason MS is only going with 16GB is to keep the costs down and comparable to what a 16GB setup with uniform chips would be.
The APU cost differences are unknown. Yes, its a smaller APU, but the APU has to hit much higher clocks and that does impact yields. The end result could be that both APU's are very similar in cost.
I guess my point in the end is that I expect both to be very close in their actual BOM.

If I were part of Alex Batalia's discord brigade, I would propagate that info and peddle it to everyone to set-up for a potential disappointment.
