A few minutes ago, Nintendo updated its website with patch notes for a new Firmware update (Ver. 10.0.0-27). But 5mn later the website was once again updated, and the patch notes were removed (including those for 9.9.0-26).

Here's the "changes" for the upcoming update:

Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience

Not sure what happened, to be honest. Looks like someone at NoA jumped the gun, since the JP website wasn't updated yet.

The patch notes weren't stable enough, so Nintendo had to quickly pull them down for further stability.

It's not really the patch notes, update isn't available at all.

Probably there is some extra feature with the update, but eShop maintenance isn't over yet so I guess update wasn't supposed to go live after all.

So uh... Anybody want to take a bet on how long it'll be before Smealum releases Ninjhax 3.0 if it's blocked in the latest update? I'm betting September 2016.

eShop maintenance end time got pushed from 5pm to 6pm PST so we're bound to see the update go live for real any moment now.

EDIT: Just bumped to 9PM PST. They're totally doing this on Hatsune Miku Project Mirai launch day on purpose to force the nerds to update and lose their homebrew in order to get the game and I want to die..

If they're bumping it to 10.0, then there was probably some major background work being done.

Or they just didn't like the look of 9.10. That's always a possibility.

Ok, eShop maintenance lasting 3 additional hours.... yup, it's not coming out right now, ha ha.

Edit: nvm, downloading now!

My eShop is still in maintenance?
I can update via the system settings though.

Edit: Yea just says for stability. Not sure why the jump to 10 for that.
