Y'know, I expected the Streetpass QoL pack to go on sale together with the second Software bundle. I'd like to use a finer music theme, but not for a fiver.

Comes out Sept. 15.

Did we know that? I think there were news about it recently but I forgot if it was a date or something else. Cool either way. Always nice to see a game support the Wii Remote as The Wii Remote and not just another device to press the (A) button on! :)

Not sure if the date was announced yet, but that's the review embargo lift.

Oh, so it does use the wiimote? That's awesome to hear. I have not been following this port closely and was wondering about this. I'm so glad to hear it does, was about to ask NateDrake about it.

I tried to find a DS community thread and this is kind of related.

We bought a 2DS that came with a digital download with Mario kart. Fast forward 3 weeks and the 2DS is busted due to our fault. Looks like it is going to cost 65-75$ to fix, while a new one will cost 79.99 and it will come with yokai watch. Question how to transfer the old download to the new 2ds. Is it possible?

Yeah it's possible, did you create a Nintendo ID on the 2DS that was broken? If so, you should just be able to call Nintendo after you buy your new 2DS and read them the serial numbers off of the 2DS and they can transfer the game for you.

Yes, it's possible. It's not as user friendly as a PlaySation or Apple transfer, but you can do it.

If it's still functional enough to be used, you can use the built in system transfer utility. If not, you'll have to contact Nintendo support to have them transfer the stuff.

With the new my Nintendo account if I unlink my nid from my Wii u and log on to a new Wii u can I redownload all my stuff?

No. MyNintendo is a Club Nintendo replacement. It has nothing to do with account management. You still need to call them or just do the regular official system transfer.

this has nothing to do with My Nintendo, but yes. you can't unlink a nnid on your own though, need customer service to help.

^ or what moon said, I forgot system transfers were a thing

Is there a site that reviews all the releases each week? A few of the 3DS titles look interesting enough, but I'm not sold on them.

Has anyone else here played Blasting Agent? It was made by a friend of mine and it's a fun little game that reminds me of good NES shooters like Contra. It's well worth $3 and it's on either 3DS or Wii. If you have any questions I can send him this way.

Together they must overcome ten levels of the Dragonbeast to find the princess – or die trying. You’ll need to perform dozens of attack moves and solve magical problems before advancing. And talk about enemies! There’s the Carp Meister, who stuns victims with poisonous fighting fish, or the Sumo Tag Team, kings of the unbeatable belly buster crunch. But that’s only the tip of the volcano – which is why your ultimate strength must come not from your might, but from your mind.

it's just a matter of release order :)

with these it seems like if NA gets it, PAL gets it and vice versa. smaller pool and all. and probably also related to PAL getting 100% US NTSC versions this time, regardless of available languages.

I just got Pilotwings SNES for 3DS. With that, I also got some "spot the item" games made by MSL. But gosh, those MSL games for 3DS are even worse than I imagined. When you think a studio cannot do much wrong with a "spot the item" game, then try these titles. Due to the bad controls, bad 3D graphics and also due to the 3DS screen these MSL titles are just crappy.

How come those get retail releases whereas some really great titles are digital only?

I'll never understand that either.

Sadame was on sale once already and it only came out in May or so. I bought it last week and played a bit. Soundtrack is great, combat is cool. I recommend it.

According to a Tweet from TreeFall Studios, Outside the Realm is being removed from the Wii U eShop on September 1st as it no longer meets their quality standards.

You read that right, the developer of THE LETTER looked at the game and said "yeah, this is too awful even for me". Better grab it quick if you want to experience this gaming masterpiece for yourself.

Little preview of weekly post's new design. Initially, it can be a little strange but avoids redundant game releases on same week and works to know if the game is available in own territory.

Isn't this more work for you, figuring out which titles are already released elsewhere? Anyhow, imo availability is already implied by the prices.
