FF IV: The After Years has been actually announced ahead of time for awhile now. Unless we get two WiiWare games this week, don't expect Cave Story.

Please PLEASE let FF4 The After be reasonably priced. I don't want to pay more than $50 for the whole thing.
Yeah I'd like a reasonable pri... uh... wha... Nevermind.

Nintendo's PR is usually up by now, maybe a huge update?!??!?!!?
They're working up some hype so the FF:After price blow isn't as big.

I'm just saying the absolute max I'm-not-very-happy-but-still-buying amount I'd pay is $50. We are talking cursing SE as I hit the purchase button.

Once enough jewels have been collected, the door to the mysterious escape tunnel is revealed and Rockford can explore another cave.

I might buy the first one, but if episode 2 is also 800, they can count me out. 800*9 = $72.

because people who are actually on nintendo's press contact list get the PR emailed to them rather than f5ing a password protected site they don't actually have access to :p

people who are upset with the price should probably wait for the actual DLC model to surface.

8 x 200 points + 800 points for the base
3 x 500 points + 800 points for the base
8 x 500 points + 800 points for the base
8 x 800 points + 800 points for the base

these are very different models.

Silly Square-Enix. Good chance I'm not buying that if that's the standard price of all the episodes. I wouldn't buy any until the whole thing is out anyways, so I can wait and see how it turns out.

Looking forward to Mighty Flip Champs impressions, since I won't even be able to download it until I get home tonight.

that is my hope at this point. Is there also any possibility that this is more than one of the original chapters?
