Well, no other opinion given in the last hours. But yeah, I'd say the brand new policy can be applied since some users voted favourably...and also because it makes quite some sense. XD

So, here we go with the decision (that will be put in the OP)

From today, Current Releases charts will be posted three times a week: Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Posts with 3DS Current Releases charts can consist of just the overall 3DS Current Releases chart or it can contain the 3DS Only (retail + 3DS dd exclusives, so no DSiWare, no VC titles) Current Releases too. The same for Wii U when Wii U eShop will be updated with this filter.

If you've posted charts for one console, but you want to post them for the other console too, just update your previous post, so there aren't two links referring to charts for the same country.

About All-Time Charts, the decision can still be considered, there's no hurry for it.

EDIT: lunchwithyuzo, remember today it's your turn. Then Friday it's Colonel's turn.

And now we have a pretty big news relevant for this thread to talk about: Fire Emblem Awakening sold over 63k digitally from launch till March 2, for a total of over 180k sold between retail and DD. The last handheld Fire Emblem entry, Shadow Dragon, sold 250k in all its lifetime, and probably a big amount of those have been sold after big pricecuts on the game, since the first shipment has been big.

Mmh, it's still up in the air when how often we should post them. I'd say next week could be the right time for posting them for the first time in this thread. About how many times we should post them, maybe once every two weeks could be good enough. For the day, instead, I was starting thinking Tuesday: a different day compared to the other charts since they're "special".

Since it's now been confirmed that Fire Emblem: Awakening has sold 63K in USA on the eShop in Feb. I think that gives a decent baseline of how things are selling on the eShop for USA eShop sales.

For example, on the all time purchase-download chart, it is ranked #17. Which really makes me happy to see Colors! 3D ranked #14.

LEGO City: Undercover already in top 10. Obvious: biggest release since...forever, and problems in getting it retail. Nintendo Land still very high. And we know that being that high meant around 7,260 sold in two weeks given the Zombi U bundle. I'm very curious about how much Runner 2 is selling. It had a very bad first week on XBLA (just over 1,000 digital copies sold IIRC). For the rest, nothing interesting to note. Wednesday charts could be VERY interesting. Monstrously interesting, I'd say.

About 3DS:
Someone call Andrex: ATV Wild Ride made the Only 3DS Chart at least, as well as the budget version of Mercenaries! Sakura Samurai is still seeing effects of the sale that ended almost one week ago. And we're seeing first effects on Ketzal's Corridors too, since its sale is still going. What happened to 3D Classics KI:Uprising for being so up? Club Nintendo deals? Gunman Clive, instead, is there just for the greatness, it seems. And remember that beril found himself surprised for the legs on eShop around one month ago, I can't even think how surprised he is now XD

Talking about the big digital boy here, Fire Emblem seems starting going down, even if just a bit. IIRC, its retail situation has quite improved recently, no? In the meanwhile, Etrian Odyssey IV is out of normal top 20 after three weeks where it has been quite frequently in top 10. I'd say it's possible it did around 7-10k in this span of time digitally. I hope it stays for a good amount of time in the 3DS only chart, at least. I hope Castlevania stays in the overall chart some more time, though. And let's hope to find out Wednesday something Monstrous happened on 3DS eShop too.

Holy crap, there's probably more ratings for Runner 2 on Wii U than people who bought it on XBLA. And yeah, 3D Classics: Kid Icarus is on Club Nintendo right now, and it seems that a ton of people don't own it already (even with the deals that happened before). And how much has Gunman Clive sold (approximately)? Didn't he say it was close to 30k or so worldwide? He hasn't even broken the top 20 for 3DS only releases, and I can't imagine how much Colors! 3D must have sold by now!

Pokemon Dream Radar is a beast. And it still hasn't crossed Link's Awakening even though it's been number one or two since forever. Must be well over a couple hundred thousand downloads for each game in the US alone.

I'm saddened to see that Nano Assault EX is nowhere to be found on the US charts.

Yeah, we've already had three breakout hits in Pokemon Dream Radar, Bird Mania 3D, Gunman Clive (maybe Kersploosh!? It seems like it may be on its way) that are $3 or below. Seems like that's impulse-buy territory for consumers.

Wii U Charts: The console is very young and with a pretty low installed base in US right now, and these kind of numbers (with Nintendo Land 10th and its more than 7k downloaded) aren't so good so far. At least, we know titles like Trine 2 have been successful on the platform, and it's the best selling title aside from the two protoVC games.
Still young though, as we can see at the bottom of the charts, with both Lego City and MH making it with just two/three days of availability.

3DS Charts: Looking at the 3DS only chart, I think titles from 6th to 14th don't have a big gap in sales between each other, since we have Excitebike with over 23k ratings and I can't think it sold just 23k, so it's more something like 40k probably. Another useful info is that Gunman Clive is still out of the 3DS Only All-Time Chart. Given it was at over 30k sold WW as of end of February, I believe it's not so absurd to say it has been downloaded at around 20k in US (lowest cap). So, all titles in the 3DS Only All-Time Chart should be above 20k.
