Wii U Charts: The console is very young and with a pretty low installed base in US right now, and these kind of numbers (with Nintendo Land 10th and its more than 7k downloaded) aren't so good so far. At least, we know titles like Trine 2 have been successful on the platform, and it's the best selling title aside from the two protoVC games.
Still young though, as we can see at the bottom of the charts, with both Lego City and MH making it with just two/three days of availability.

3DS Charts: Looking at the 3DS only chart, I think titles from 6th to 14th don't have a big gap in sales between each other, since we have Excitebike with over 23k ratings and I can't think it sold just 23k, so it's more something like 40k probably. Another useful info is that Gunman Clive is still out of the 3DS Only All-Time Chart. Given it was at over 30k sold WW as of end of February, I believe it's not so absurd to say it has been downloaded at around 20k in US (lowest cap). So, all titles in the 3DS Only All-Time Chart should be above 20k.

Yea, I misread what you said earlier. My bad.

I don't think NoA would talk about sales for both Canada and the US. There is a NoC which I imagine would talk about the Canadian sales.

I wonder how well Mario and Donkey Kong: Minis on the Move will do, since the DSiWare version has been doing extremely well. Also dat Colors! 3D. Plants vs. Zombies 2 should light up the charts again whenever that hits.

It's good to see pretty much all of the Wii U eShop games breaking 7k in the US. I'm betting Trine 2 is somewhere around 30k or so, and that's pretty good for a title that sold around 15-20k on XBLA/PSN. Just waiting for Nintendo to announce some more Wii U eShop games like they did for the 3DS.

i'd imagine its been dowloaded considerably more than that but its not provable, the only thing we know is that at least 7k download codes from the bundle were sold

JoshuaJSlone did this with Nano Assault Neo in December 2012 and he was number 13.000 in the list. (first level)

So this game sold 13.000 units at least (December 2012).

I can't do this again because my score is too high. xD

@Smoker: Well, if charting games have leaderboards, why not? For example, recently ATV came out on US, with online leaderboards too. What's needed is that who posts charts has that game. And here we go, Luigi's Mansion already way up there (and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon in top 10 too)and 3DS XL Promotion free titles starting appearing, with Super Mario 3D Land and Layton and the Miracle Mask. Pretty happy in seeing MH3U doing so well on both platforms, even if seeing The Croods at 20th position doesn't bode that great for overall Wii U download numbers XD

Looking at other European countries eShop charts, I've seen two interesting things

1) You can perfectly see that Spain and Porugal got the game earlier: while other countries have 5-6 ratings for Luigi's Mansion 2, Spain and Portugal has 39+ ratings :lol

2)MH3U is doing pretty well on all eShop charts, but in a specific country it's second in the overall Current Releases Chart. No, not Germany, but UK. I've heard the 3DS SKU has become very difficult to find at retail, can someone back this up? It would explain this strangelly big amount of demand.




A little warning for lunchwithyuzo, who should post the US Charts for today: I told you to take consideration of the fact that the US eShop is under a maintenance period from 12 PM to 6 PM Pacific Time for deciding when posting the charts, but ,thinking at it better, I'd say there's no problem if you post them directly tomorrow at your usual time. Today there's a maintenance, it's an exceptional case, I don't see big problems.
