I'm getting sick of this shit. At least with Strange Journey
which I will finish one day
I could import it, and play it in a language I understand.

So I was looking at the list of games due for Europe in this list and noticed there is no mention of SMT 4 for EU in either Nintendo published or third party. As someone who wants to play the game, I'm starting to get worried.
I've not checked the list but do these ever contain any previously not disclosed information. Especially on the 3rd party side? My past self thinks the answer is no and since no publisher has announced a release date (or even declared they are working on it, a Nintendo direct of "oh yeah SMT4 is coming to Europe I think" is all our information)

So, do we know who's actually publishing SMT4 in Europe? Well, if it ever gets released over here that is.
Try contacting NISA Europe or Ghostlight (these two are potential suspects) and keep bugging them until they confirm or deny involvement.

Brain Training's delay is so bizarre.
I want it damn it!
It is the European version of Famicom Wars DS 2 (aka Advance War Days of Ruin) on the Japanese side. Expect it as a Club Nintendo eShop exclusive in 2016 (the Japanese finally got it like that)

That list isn't exhaustive as I understand it. At least, they'd better hope so anyway.

Yes, seems that way. Everything on the list has been previously announced on a Nintendo Direct as Q1 2014 games or are pending titles (Bayonetta, X etc.)
PLvsAA hasn't been set in stone for NA, it'll be announced at a ND with a Q2 2014 date most likely. Hopefully it's the same reason SMT4 for EU isn't on the list...

it's been announced for the UK, and It seems to be Nintendo themselves, you can rule out GL and NISA already.

@ghostlightgames

@FaulPern I believe someone else announced it on a previous Nintendo Direct.

I doubt it's NISA either since they have announced European Releases of SMT:DS: Soul Hackers and Etrian Odyssey Untold between April and now. Why should they keep silent about SMT IV if they publish it but announce other Atlus games instead? It's not like NISA at all!

I am therefore pretty sure that NoE is publishing it.

Smash Bros listed for both the Wii U and 3DS this year.

I was hoping the 3DS version would be 2015 to give the Wii U game/system a better chance.

I'm only up to chapter 2 and story aside I'm having fun with the game. If you don't expect more than a good FF4/5 clone you really can't go wrong here, best implementation of random encounters ever and lots of jobs/skills. Lovely graphics and nice music.
Pretty sure they were referring to SMT IV, not Bravely Default (though I am looking forward to that).

That Wii U list is pretty great. Sure, there's less titles than last year, but last year I skipped Lego City, Game & Wario, New Super Luigi U, Wii Party U and Wii Fit U whereas every single game on this list is a definite buy.

Plus there'll most likely be 1 or 2 more games simultaneously announced and released this year.

Also, I'm sure SMT4 will release eventually. I'm thinking it's Nintendo themselves publishing it now, and we know how quiet they are about anything other than their next 1 or 2 releases. I mean, look at Kirby, that has to be scheduled for May or so, yet we've heard nothing.

I expect the launch windows to look like this
August/September: Hyrule Warrios
October: Smash Bros
November: Bayonetta 2

X slipping to 2015

The drought to MK8 and post MK8 are horribly long.

I see Smash for November/December, they want that to be the #1 title for the holidays

dat drought though, jeez

3rd-party list for Wii U (North America + Europe):

Watch_Dogs would be an example of a core, major third-party port from a major publisher.

My fear is that if Watch_Dogs really was coming out for the Wii U, Nintendo would want to flaunt it. They have both LEGO games on there, so why not Watch_Dogs if it was coming out?

Are these supposed to just be Q4 products (or something) or are these all of the 3rd party titles announced for 2014 so far? That is atrocious...

Every single one of these release lists, every single quarter, since 10+ years ago, has been a partial release list. Something showing up might be an interesting hint that it's going to come, but something being absent is not confirmation that it isn't.

Project CARS isn't listed either and this will come for sure.

Watch_Dogs not in the list is not something new. Has this really not been noticed before?

It appeared on April 25th 2013 http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2013/130425e.pdf not in Japan, just US/Europe
It's still there on July 31st 2013 http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2013/130731_3e.pdf now in Japan/US/Europe; also Europe mentions the special edition “Watch Dogs (Vigilante/Dedsec/Uplay)”
It disappeared on October 31st 2013 http://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2013/131031e.pdf

I wonder if it was cancelled around that time...or if Nintendo just randomly decided to take it off the list and replace it with two LEGO game mentions for whatever reason.

Nintendo did say they would license out IP, so Lego Zelda, Lego Mario and Lego Pokemon are imo quite likely

Must be when Ubisoft delayed the game Nintendo took it off and since it still doesnt have a release date they have not put it back on

I doubt that, if it was canceled back then Ubisoft would have announced it being canceled on WiiU during the time they delayed the game instead of containing to offer the game up for preorder, It think it just more with the game being delayed.

LEGO working with Nintendo? I thought there was bad blood over the N&B block.

*sigh* I'll add it to my list of things to contact NOE customer services about (the other things being a digital transfer save tool download code and 50Hz).

Yeah, Watch Dogs on Wii U is R.I.P. Terrible Wii U third party list. And 3DS doesn't have much to get excited about either on the third party front. We'll see when a Direct hits. They must have some more stuff in the works to fill out the rest of the year on 3DS at least.

But nice to see X scheduled for this year. Looking forward to pretty much everything on that first party Wii U list (except Warriors and am skeptical about SMTxFE).

People only notice what they want.

Glad to see X still listed as 2014.
