Overall every single reaction I've seen has been incredibly positive. In fact I've not seen a single outright negative reaction from any big name or professional source. However another recurring theme is people wanting to know more. Ex. Is the battery life really 3 hours? Does the touchscreen work? What games are coming? Which we apparently won't get any official info on until January at the earliest.

Hype is a powerful thing and the primary reaction online has been from Nintendo fans who have been so deprived of info that almost any official announcement made by Nintendo would have garnered a positive reaction imo. I think people who look at it objectively are having a different reaction and are more skeptical, but the excitement from fans is so high right now that they are overlooking some pretty glaring flaws.

Wow there is a lot of excitement in that first video. This part at the end should become some kind of meme for when Nintendo does good or bad.

I don't know why some people have a desire to try and determine the "actual" level of excitement someone had in a reaction video and then try and compare that to how they "acted" to determine how much they overreacted. Seems like a really arbitrary thing. If people act excited, I usually assume they are.

Thinks it looks good and is a good move for Nintendo, though is a bit skeptical about issues like account structure and actual 3rd party support. Overall positive, but he primarily thinks it will be a device supported mostly by Nintendo themselves; positive about them being able to do that more easily now.

Easy Allies messed up their reaction video. Production values have fallen so far since Gametrailers. I thought of listening to their latest podcast that was uploaded a few days after the event for a better analysis and it was recorded before the announcement.

The few minutes of direct reactions were lost due to Twitch muting the music, but we had more than 40 minutes of analysis afterwards that's perfectly watchable.

I'm surprised Colin was really warm to it (although I knew he'd hate the name). To me, he represents the "forgotten Nintendo fan" that the company left behind during the Wii era, so to see someone like him impressed and excited for the Switch is a good sign that Nintendo is on the right track.
