NISA will also have Special Announcements at Anime Expo

Hmmm, the GFP sequel might be okay, though I haven't played the first one yet.

A bit on the disappointing side for me, but I hope they upload the new DR2 trailer somewhere soon.

When is the Aksys panel?

Criminal Girl on PSP wasn't so bad in the perv departement si i doubt anything would've been cut, no idea about the Vita revision though.

Glad Hotaru no nikki was confirmed.

"Asking about Neptune license. Games will be handled title by title (if or nisa)"

So it's not Idea Factory Int'l exclusive now.

Little disappointing to be honest. I was expecting two of these - Guided Fate sequel & Hotaru no Nikki. I have no interest in the former but the latter will be an insta-buy for me.

Criminal Girls is surprising, but it's Imageepoch and I really have absolutely no interest in it. Oh well. They get like 10 games out in a year usually and there were only 2 announcements for 2015 in here, so they've still got 8 more chances to get my money :P

True, but IFI gets first pick at their titles, now. Why would they pass on Neptunia if it sells well?

And judging by that "send emails of games you want" part, they'll be hearing from me about Planet Destroyer Noire and DanganRonpa: Another Episode in due course!

Definitely! but they are doing Fairy Fencer F, so I think they just have some partnership with NISA/NIS. They can't localize all Neptunia titles so fast, right?

I don't think IFI will be able to handle Compile Heart's output. This year alone:

- 4 Neptunia games
- Omega Quintet
- Moero Chronicle
- Makai Shin Trillion
- Date a Live

If I were IFI, I'd handle the simpler localizations (i.e. Neptunia Re;birth 2) or some of the stuff with stronger sales potential (i.e. Omega Quintet - first JRPG on PS4), then offer the other stuff out to other localization houses. I'm sure NISA would love to continue picking Neptunia games up.

Yeah, that's too much. Since NISA is open to VN style games, I wonder if we'll ever see Date A Live since you mentioned it. :p

News from the president: Next Disgaea will be announced in the fall, and sequels to both Criminal Girls and The Witch and the Hundred Knight are being considered.

Could NISA be interested in bringing more Visual Novels to the West?

Guided Fate Paradox was such an underrated Dungeon Crawler. Godly (Pun intended) Music.

I'm so glad they're localizing its sequel, Awakened Fate Ultimatum. Getting it day one.

Probably. Danganronpa is a huge money maker for Spike-Chunsoft (FUND MY ZERO ESCAPE 3 FUCKERS), and it looks like it's one of NISA's most successful localization to the point where we're getting the first and second game in the same year. I also just assume now they're gonna localize Danganronpa Another Episode now.

I want to say stuff like Steins;Gate/Chaos;Head NoAH or Fate Stay Night but I still think the chances of ever getting those on something like a Vita are slim. We got Steins Gate on PC though!

So Disgaea 5 at TGS?

If that NIS game at TGS isn't Disgaea 5 I'll be pleasantly surprised. I'd accept a new IP from them though.

EDIT: Nevermind according to that guys later tweets there's still nothing for NISA to report on DR: Another Episode, and there IS a new Disgaea game in the works.

I remember reading a news article a few months ago in which NIS already stated that they will reveal their first PS4 title at TGS (probably Disgaea 5)

I think I know what you're talking about. TGS looks to be good~

With them considering a Criminal Girls and Witch & 100 Knights sequels, I think they got their hands full.

That's just because 5pb. are kinda dicks but after Danganronpa, Xblaze and (supposedly) their own Corpse Party BD they might be interested if the Vita proves that there's an audience for VNs.
The Vita also has all the S;G sequels, both C;H in a single cart and the best R;N version, they have a lot of stuff there. I'm sure that bringing them to the west would be beneficial for them considering how poorly they sell in Japan.

There's no license issues that can stop NISA/5pb/Nitro+ from bringing it over either, right?

I don't know but since they released it on PC, I guess not.
The thing with 5pb is that they have a reputation of being really hard to deal with but they might have opened a little bit lately. Phantom Breaker was kinda surprising.

I don't know any other visual novel NISA could get that aren't from Idea Factory. Go for those otome games, NISA!

There's a bunch that exist outside of Idea Factory and Nitro+/5pb. It depends on how far they want to go in regards to this niche though.
