No, I think that was just US. It included bundles, but it was just US.
As I recall PG4 sold like 80k its first month, and that was with a much larger userbase and no digital downloads.

Even if total October hardware sales end up being the same as this month, 1.2 million units sold, total hardware sales will not surpass 2012, which are the second lowest in the last decade after last year. Keep in mind hardware sales typically drop from September to October.
I thought it was possible the market would return to 2002-2005 hardware sales, but even 2015 is uncertain. Last year November and December composed roughly 57% of the entire hardware sales for 2013, which was the highest in the last decade. In 2006 when the Wii and PS3 launched the two months made up 49% of total sales, with the following year the percentage dropping by six. I could see November and December being half of total hardware sales for this year, meaning 17 million consoles and handhelds being sold in 2014.
So overall hardware sales this year as other have said doesn't look particularly healthy thanks to a weak handheld market.

Really interesting that Destiny performed better on Xbox One despite all of that marketing and promotion by Sony. That fucking game hogged up so much time at 2 Sony E3's.
I think it was cause he kept trying to pass of his stuff as real numbers, despite constant warnings, and temporary bans, or something.
It was pretty funny actually.
You can't just list stuff like this without a source and also chartzzzz is banned.

Hmm, I imagine WW Destiny must have topped 4M through September then, with something like 200K in Japan, more than half a million in the UK, probably closer to 600K there. Continental Europe and other PAL should presumably bring it past the mark easily.

well the idea is to have profitable hardware. right now they don't. if they have a library people want, that's the attraction, and theoretically both the hardware and software make money.

Chartz numberz are completely made up by some crazy madman who wants to get rich off of people's ignorance.
NPD + GfK + Famitsu numbers are real numbers sourced from real sell-through data.
NPD numbers are oftentimes very different from Chartz numbers.
People have been banned for less...

Comparing the Wii U to the PS4 is silly for a lot of reasons outside the scope of this thread.
You're convinced JRPGs on consoles are dead. I'm not, and I'm willing to bet the market in 2016 will show what I'm predicting. Big titles are coming. Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy XV alone will be system-sellers.

I got it because of the bolded. Ultimate self-aware call out. Believe it or not, X NPD's should be (very) interesting were in every NPD thread from November 2013 to March 2014.
