No bias aside, I'm not going to pretend Israel doesn't have its own share of controversy.
Opening a store in Israel is problematic, but no more so than doing business with China, or importing millions of barrels of oil from Saudi Arabia.

Basically, the world is already too hypocritical for it to make a difference and for us to look "moral".

Also, chances are any technology you're using basically has Israel involved. Intel invests a ton of money in their Israel branch for example so better throw away those CPUs if you intend to boycott!

My own personal opinion, I'm not actually against the state of Israel. I do get annoyed though that both Democrats and Republicans throw blind support behind them and the billions of dollars they receive as a result but other than that, I don't really care what they do.
I can give credit to Israel for being a major powerhouse in technology.
The USB stick was invented there, they made some nice guns (the Uzi submachine gun and Desert Eagle pistol are Israeli), they also make great strides in converting salt water into clean drinking water.

Nothing wrong with having diplomatic relations with them. But that's all I want. When it comes to the West Bank/Gaza dispute, we shouldn't pick a side.
Are you a Canadian that self-identifies as a U.S. citizen or something?
It's ok to state your opinion, but you always seem to write it as though you're an American voter or something.

Are you ok??

In their defense, there's a lot to love about my country...
Still gotta take a step back tho.
I was there more time than him. I already notice that the forum was a putrit place with barely any discussion(many of them are afraid to post and receive the tag "banned" for whatever the reason they want, including me). But it took me a time to realize there was more of a prison than a discussion forum. Most of times it sounds more like a kid running the entire forum, reading every piece of post just waiting for a juicy ban and jumping for joy when they do so.
Not much different from Sonic Stadium though. The admins there act like nazis.
That's sad to hear. I've been out of Sonic communities for a while now.

You don't have to be American to take an interest in American politics. What happens there sets the conditions for the rest of the world.
I know that. But there are differences between being an American, not being an American, and trying to pass as an American.

Substitute American for European, musician, sportsperson, female, gamer, black, lawyer, etc etc.

Jordan has been pretty open about the fact he's Canadian though. He even has it in his profile info.

Cool, so I'm not the only one, I mean I wasn't gonna bring it up but @JordanN posts come off as if he's American. At this point I was just assuming that he either wants to be American or he wants America to Anexe us...

Reset's hatred of white people reaches new levels.

Please don't ban me for this but can I make an observation? How come it's only white people who are being targeted for "privilege" when it comes to making societal advancements?

The quote from above comes from Japan, a country that is 99% ethnic Japanese. White people absolutely hold no major presence in Japan. And yet, according to Dynamite Cop, it's still considered "White privilege" for Whites to get a job promotion in Japan?

Wtf do SJW's want? Are they going to start calling Japanese people "White Supremacists" too?

And just in time.
Resetera bows down to Communist China overlords. Because anything to be against Trump, right?

I thought SJW's were paragons of equality? Yet why do they get on their knees for Communist China who are known to anything but equal?

@JordanN Thinking the Tariff Trade War is dumb as shit isn't a very controversial opinion. Many here probably think the same.

Read some of the selected quotes.
Are you saying many people here want China to hurt the U.S? Because that's what I highlighted for.

I also mentioned that Resetera is always quick to suck Communist China's dick if it involves making Trump look bad

You want proof? Look back at April 17th, 2019 when I made the exact same observation about Reset's loyalty to Communist China.

They're not talking about the economy. They are talking about ruining the U.S to spite Trump.

Only 2 out of the 6 posts you posted alluded to that and more in a way of ridiculing areas hit by this tariff war the hardest that voted for him.

Another crazy ass Reset SJW goes off his handle, just to make women cry?

The faces of social justice and equality, people.

And "only work with females"? Wtf kind of workplace is that? Especially when they allow this deranged individual to hang around them? Maybe we should call this SJW privilege?

I don't generally like to reiterate things, but I keep coming back to how disgusting this post is and how it hasn't even gotten a warning:

This has been a malicious, antisemitic slogan since the 60s:
From the River to the Sea (Arabic: min al-nahr ila al-bahr ) is, and forms part of, a popular political slogan used by Palestinian nationalists. It contains the notion that the land which lies between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea be entirely placed under Arab rule at the cost of the State of Israel
The slogan is versatile with numerous variations including "From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,"[84] "Palestine is ours from the river to the sea," "Palestine is Islamic from the river to the sea,"[85] Islamic scholars also claim the Mahdi will also declare the slogan in the following format: "Jerusalem is Arab Muslim, and Palestine — all of it, from the river to the sea — is Arab Muslim."[86]
Era is a terrible place overall, but I can generally respect its opposition to bigotry in general even if they will over correct a lot of the time and catch people that aren't being bigots. But here's a friggin 14 words equivalent right out in the open and nothing is being done about it.

And the best part about all this is the guy's low post count, which would normally be a red flag for people there with how shit they are to people with low post counts. There's a not impossible chance that guy is a troll.

Any Jew that's reading this and still posts on Era, I would encourage you to stop giving them the activity. They don't care about you even if you're ideologically aligned with them and aren't a fan of Israel's policies. You will always be considered a part of a privileged group even when a large chunk of the world is against us even when ignoring Israel. The right are absolutely not our allies, but neither are the left, they just hide it better.

Keep in mind you're talking about the FAR right and FAR left, here. I grew up in a conservative, Christian, republican household, and no one in my family ever had issues with Jewish people. I no longer identify with any political ideology, but even back when I considered myself a republican, I never thought negatively of Jewish people.

I agree, but the political polarization of modern times has had A LOT of people that were apolitical before lean into the far ends of the political spectrum in my experience. I've cut people off over antisemitism on both the left and the right and seeing some of them now on social media, I see they went in HARD on that shit.

Yeah I feel like a lot of the craziness is the fact that now it isn’t just other Americans weighing in, people all over the world have more of a say than ever. Not only does this mean they carry over whatever political stance they formed in their own countries (and most western powers lean much further left than the US, which explains that dramatic shift) they also have their biases which include things like “Americans are stupid” or “racism is just an American thing” or “anything outside the elite coasts is ignorable”

On top of that, the proliferation of global voices means that media defines a lot of discussions, and is over represented online as compared to offline IRL how people actually think. It leads to a media bubble, all these people that actually have never lived in the US but think they know what it’s like, their entire frame of reference is news tv and movies. Add to that the death grip of Twitter as crucial for modern journalism and no wonder political discussion is in the current confusing state

There is nothing wrong with running a business anywhere, but they brought politics into the discussion. That’s why politics should be a big no in gaming discussions. It just gets tiresome.
This sort of post reveals a fundamental misunderstanding of what Ree actually is.

Ree is not, and has never been, a gaming forum. I was there when it was started, and I saw the angle they took to get to where they wanted to be. Ree has always been a political forum which uses gaming as a method of drawing people to go there where they can then indoctrinate them on their political views. Gaming has always been a thin veneer over the real purpose of the site, which is to convert gamers to their politics.

When you understand this, then everything will make sense about that place. It's a classic example of a Narrativist group using some hobby or interest to draw people into their narrative.

It’s basically a consumer snob farm

Video game fans that spent all day complaining about gamers

Anime fans that spend all day complaining about anime fans

Star Wars fans that spend all day complaining about Star Wars fans

Etc etc it’s just who is the best consumer, who is the “real fan” and who are the “toxic fans” “How can I look down on people while consuming corporate crap?”

It’s Consumer signalling. Wokest corporate whore wins

Absolutely not. They should be removed from other people if anything

If you can't see how fucked up in the head you are "literally shaking" from Climate Change, hopefully family members will and commit your ass.

Apparently they banned my boy Chewie on ResetEra. Wonder if he still has an account here after he requested a ban. He was one of the better CanadaGaf members.

Someone took a ban for saying something bad about Kotaku. What a whacky surreal world we have turned into.
