We will mainly be locking discussions about "misery of the day" political threads or depressing news threads that exist for the sake of being depressed or angry. Other threads that veer negative or hostile will be considered on a case by case basis and handled appropriately. If you wish to stay informed on important political news or social isues that don't end up being covered by Off-Topic, we suggest visiting http://www.nytimes.com or http://www.washingtonpost.com to stay informed. NeoGAF is not intended to be your only source of information on the internet.

Do not read into this policy update and think that we will suddenly be allowing racism, sexism, anti-LGBT speech, or anything else of that nature. We will absolutely not tolerate that, just as before.

Good, I actually wanted to see if anyone else is actually watching Vice Principals, and to be honest I was sick of the politics even though I am pretty far left, GAF along with games is my escape don't want to talk about trump for the millionth time, if you keep eating shit sandwiches eventually you start to like the taste of shit.

As someone who is on the fence about keeping GAF as my primary forum the way OT goes will go a long way towards my final decision of if I want to stay and try to be a positive influence on a site I love despite the shitstorm swirling around it.
