i'm interested in getting MVP baseball for ps2. but i'm not going to buy it if we don't have a decent league. if you are interested in a ps2 league, post here, but please keep in mind the following details below:

1. the league will be run through www.leaguedaddy.com.
2. leaguedaddy is a pay site. it is $30 for 3 months. that means if we have 30 teams (hypothetical), each person would pay $1 paypal. if we have 10 teams, $3. i know i fit the bill for the ps2 madden league, but that's because i love football
3. the schedule is pretty strict. i'm not 100% sure how i'd do it for baseball, but i imagine i would do it on a 5 day period. only in this instance, you'd play "series". for instance:

week 1: Cal State @ Houston (4 game series)

so, in that 5 day span, i have to play at Houston 4 times.

the other option is to do it exactly like an nfl schedule and have an X number of games season and just do one game every 5 days.

4. Full game AND player stats will be REQUIRED to be entered by you for your team at the conclusion of every game.

if you are still interested, post here. if there is enough interest, i will pursue the matter further.

Everyone buy this game,pretty much a lag free baseball game and FMT can choose to make the league with the new controls or the old mvp controls.

The football schedule idea would work better,that way we could play a full 9 inning game.

I might give this game a shot since I have a really nice schedule the next couple weeks; I'll probably pick it up when I go to EB tomorrow to pre-order Winning Eleven. I haven't played a baseball game since the WSB with Giambi on the cover though. ;P I also want to test out my funky connection (Building Network->Laptop->USB Ethernet Adapter->PS2) to make sure it's on the up-and-up since you guys say this game is lag-free and my games of Smackdown so far (only PS2 online game I have) have had this annoying .5-1 second delay.

Possibly because there are only 19 "real" stadiums in the game. Rice on the other hand is one of the teams with their stadium in the game. I assume winning a national title a few years backwill do that forum.

When you play with a team that does not have a stadium you have a select few that a pre-made or you use the extremely limited Create-a-balpark
