I never really understand all that midi stuff myself. I stopped using it the day I realized I was getting double notes in all my key and drum editors, cuz I had USB and midi shit hooked up on the same device :lol

LOL ! Memories.....

you should have a look at the spaghettio behind all my gear! :lol

Maaan when are we gonna start the GAME 4.0 thread? At least to talk about ideas and stuff.

Anyways, I've decided to stick with a WIP I posted a couple pages ago and would like some of your opinions, zshare since it's a WIP. Also it's probably better with high volume:

I'm trying to make something that's kind of repetive while staying fresh. If you have any ideas shoot them up, and it would be awesome to know if everything sounds good right now on your headphones/speakers.

lol I've had that before too, luckily Ableton makes it really simple to turn MIDI ports on/off though.

Well, now I know, but the problem is that ALL of the stuff I made a few years back are all plagued with overlap. And when you use function "delete double notes" it doesn't sound right since I mixed with everything doubled :lol

Anyone using Cubase have a problem with midi CC changes extending beyond the part that you want to affect? For example, I use some expression modulation from the pitch wheel on a few notes within a midi part. The problem is that the next part retains the CC message and is affecting the succeeding notes. Can't Cubase constrain CC data to one part and midi it off for the next part? This is ruining my current song. The last time I think I asked about this at the Cubase forums, and it apparently is not a bug.

That would sound pretty funny. I'm glad I don't have any MIDI cables in my setup to worry about now, makes latency issues so much easier to deal with.

Btw monchi MIDI jitter is something different again, thats where you get that first beat stumble as everything gets a start signal, I've had that problem before too.

Alright, I've gone ahead and created a thread for G.A.M.E. 4.0, just to get the ball rolling:

I don't intend to take over coordination duties, so Fighty, Monchi, Mr. Nash, whoever, the producer's chair is still yours, but I can maintain the OP. I also mentioned in that thread that the 3.0 project is still alive and kicking; we can move all discussion for 3.1 & beyond over there or keep it in here, whatever you guys want.
