Looks like only few are playing. Is it that bad or what? I'm still looking forward to this game.
Thanks for the vid.Hammer24 said:Two Worlds (along with Picross DS and Tomb Raider Anniversary) has been on german TV this Sunday. For anyone interested to see 2W in motion, I put it up on Gametrailers.

IGN said:Imagine, if you will, this typical role-playing game scenario. You're exploring old ruins when you're suddenly attacked by an ogre. You fight a vicious battle and, in the end, the ogre's bloody body falls to the ground. You smile victoriously, then search your fallen foe for some hard-earned loot. There's some gold, a couple potions, and a long sword which happens to be identical to the one you used to slay the ogre. "Great," you think to yourself. "Another friggin' long sword." To make matters worse, you can't even carry it back to sell off because you're already over-encumbered. You slink away empty handed, and wonder why you bother searching felled enemies at all.
In Two Worlds, the above scenario would play out almost identically, except upon discovering the duplicate weapon, you'd be thinking, "Great, another long sword. I can combine that with the one I'm using now, then maybe I'll find another one or some power gems to make it even stronger. I should search around here to see if there's more ogres carrying long swords."

I find it very strange that only German-speaking people are online then. I spent about an hour trying out servers, and I never found a single English speaking person.Hammer24 said:It has been #1 on the PC charts of a couple of european countries - but whatever, let´s wait for the ww 360 release, and the XBL RPG crowd.![]()
Hammer24 said:I never tried the PC version. But on the english board of the official forum, there are a couple discussions about the mp.
Lonesome_Raod said:We hope it will be out soon. But the games had so many date changes its not funny.
Hammer24 said:Instead of giving another Two Woorlds tuesday update, IGN gave deatils for the contents of the Collectors edition in NA:
"The package will come in a holographic slipcase and includes a slew of the usual bonus items and content, such as
A map of the game world; a 72-page full-color, pen and paper RPG book; a second disc with bonus music and videos; a web kit with content for fansite creation.
The 360 version will include a 48-hour trial of the Xbox Live Gold service, and the PC will feature exclusive, unlockable in-game items.
For reasons that may always be a mystery, the Xbox 360 version of the Two Worlds Collector's Edition will cost $10 more than the PC ($69.99 and $59.99, respectively)."
Which basically means - no t-shirt for you americans...
But the good thing is, no more delays, it´ll be out soon!![]()

No it's not, it's not the greatest game ever, but it's certainly not bad either.Defcon said:The game is really bad. Don't get your hopes up.

The bugs and polish are fine now with the 1.4 patch. The fighting system is still far too simplistic and boring for my tastes though. My main problem with the game.jakershaker said:Well if the pc version is anything to go by the game is, in fact, quite bad. Lots of gamebreaking bugs, crap fighting system and nothing feels polished, the whole game is still beta.
Salazar said:I figure this won't be out in Australia for ages - and when it does arrive, it will be in amazingly competitive company (c'mon 360 AAA games). Is the story as substantial / involving as they claimed ? It looks, at any rate, to have slightly cooler monsters than Oblivion.
Kabouter said:The fighting system is still far too simplistic and boring for my tastes though. My main problem with the game.
Story is on the same level as that in Oblivion. That is, you won't give a crap about the story. It's just an excuse to do some fightin'.
And then there's the multiplayer. Don't worry, multiplayer won't be a simple re-hash of the single-player missions, since the multiplayer will take place on different maps from the single player. It'll be a co-op affair in which groups of friends can take on instanced quests on smaller maps than the main campaign. They'll be able together through the quest, and if they don't finish, they can save their progress and pick it up again another time. It looks like players will have more control over the creation of their characters in the multiplayer, with a variety of races and classes to choose from at the outset. And they'll carry these same characters from one map to another, including spells and items that they've earned along the way. It's also worth mentioning that there has been some suggestion that the PC and Xbox 360 players may be able to team up on multiplayer, but no details are available as yet.
All in all, it looks like Two Worlds will offer RPG players a solid single-player experience with some ambitious elements, especially the depth of the storyline and the way the player's should have real effects on the game world. If the combat system looks like it's been simplified a bit to appeal to a wider audience, the depth of the crafting system should make up the difference with the hardcore players. There should be no end to the number of things that players will be able to create with a system this open-ended.
Lonesome_Raod said:They are stating 20th of July but I never take retailers claims as definate.
Storyline isn't deep, nor does it really affect the gameworld that much. Not more so than in other WRPG's. It is however a very solid single-player experienceAll in all, it looks like Two Worlds will offer RPG players a solid single-player experience with some ambitious elements, especially the depth of the storyline and the way the player's should have real effects on the game world.

Dragons
Hit Points: 20,000-50,000
Fight with: Lance, Halberd, Earth Magic
Antaloor is home to a variety of these might creatures, all of them deadly. There's the sand dragons of the Drak'ar Desert, the rock dragons of the Badlands, the lava dragons in the volcanic plains of GorGammar, and the one-of-a-kind king of lizards, the White Dragon. Defeating any one of these creatures is a challenge since they'll rip you apart with their teeth and claws at close range, and blast you with their fiery breath from a distance. Your best bet when battling a dragon is to constantly stay on the move, striking and then running to a new position, making the most of your comparatively small size.
