Great, now get ready for the republican protest against socialist football.
The salary cap and revenue sharing make the NFL the most socialist sports league we have. Also the most successful.

If people didn't protest when Rush wasn't able to get ownership of the Rams, I doubt they'll protest over this.

Damn, that's weird, but awesome... EA really went all out with that. Just wonder if that's gonna be the same celebration for every year of franchise. Are we gonna continually get an Obama in 2016 and beyond, or get a Palin or something in 2012? :lol

They know that the president would never sue on something like this.
This is not something negative to the pres' image, however if they sue the company that did this will sure give the prez negative image.

As a fan of NFL2k, Madden sure has taken an impressive turn in the presentation department. It was boring as fuck for a bunch of years there.

IGN first reported today, with that video, on Madden 11's enhanced Super Bowl interstitials. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's appearance up on that Jabba the Hutt Sail Barge at the end of the big game is very impressive. I don't think any league executive in any sport has had his likeness represented in a game before. And that's an important first.
David Stern is in NBA Live 2004.

EA will kill the game as soon as he is not the President...

The main thing I noticed is the animation still look stiff when the slow motion replay was showing. We have games like Uncharted, and seemingly TLG pulling off good animation and a game focused on it in a highly controlled square box can't get the illusion better than the first madden on these consoles. To be honest it still reminds me of madden 2000. Madden 2000 was such a jump up, but they had competition then, one handed grabs all over the place impressed me at first.

I can't believe that's actually a promotional video for Madden. The animations look as stiff and awkward as hell.

...and that, kids, was the first time I sucked a dick for crack
That commentary....was awful and very hard to listen to. It felt so fake, and tried too damn hard to sound "emotional". Superbowl commentary is a lot more exciting than this. That just sounded like a eulogy.

For what is supposed to be the single biggest thing in American sports - winning the Super Bowl - that big celebration scene is really not that exciting.

I was expecting Obama to be playable :(
I've never played a madden game, but wow those are some bad animations, and at 1:07 a guy in the background suddenly appears out of nowhere. And the bucket of sparks, lol.
