IGN first reported today, with that video, on Madden 11's enhanced Super Bowl interstitials. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell's appearance up on that Jabba the Hutt Sail Barge at the end of the big game is very impressive. I don't think any league executive in any sport has had his likeness represented in a game before. And that's an important first.

The main thing I noticed is the animation still look stiff when the slow motion replay was showing. We have games like Uncharted, and seemingly TLG pulling off good animation and a game focused on it in a highly controlled square box can't get the illusion better than the first madden on these consoles. To be honest it still reminds me of madden 2000. Madden 2000 was such a jump up, but they had competition then, one handed grabs all over the place impressed me at first.
