Other than gaming, what’s your other big hobby?

Fishing and naturelife, pitch the tent start the fire and then fish. Later on sitting with a whisky at the fire, that is lifequality for me.

Also have started to collect Legosets, at the moment buying starwars sets i find nice.

Also buying e-packs with hockeycards and wow-cards etc etc, transfering some of them to comc and selling them, cards i really like i order home.

Also having a Metallica-Collection that i always find new stuff to add to.

Music, but not as much as it used to be.

Exercise is a big one for me, but I'm not obsessed with it. I'm no body builder but I do enjoy training and staying muscular and somewhat lean, though that lean part isn't near as fun as the muscular part ;)

Beyond that, I love writing, but I don't do it near enough. I was once a drummer, but that was two decades ago at this point. Funny enough, I still think about drumming every day. I also love reading and spending time with the family. My daughter is getting big into training, so it seems I'll have the training partner I've always wanted soon :D

Different kinds of arts and ice water swimming.

I used to lift weights and run long distance a lot more but since lowering the amount of carbohydrates in my diet I've struggled to keep up.

Art, making games, MTB (including making custom builds as well as actually riding the things)

What's a hobby or not a hobby is interesting, I think people just have things going on, I enjoy sports, am I classifying watching basketball day to day week to week a hobby? No.

Parenting, house/yard work and my job take up all my time outside of gaming.

I do enjoy cooking, but I have to do it so not sure if it's a hobby.

Mountain biking + building these metal models (similar to Metal Earth stuff, no idea what you would call it) and other metal kits of nuts and bolts etc.

I'm a forever DM for D&D. 3.5, 5e, 5,5e.
Other smaller hobbies include 3d printing, camping, retro pc hardware, and game collecting.
Dabble in TCG cards for the art, retro Pi gaming, cooking, movies, history podcasts.
Open to others as they strike my fancy.

Playing piano or music in general. Though the past few years have been tough on my hands, so I've had to slow down a bit.

Largely Reading and maintaining the chicken farm. I have a wife and three daughters, they take up some time as well. During College Football season my brothers and I hit the casinos to place bets at least once per week.

Used to be playing Ice Hockey competitively, but age and injuries stopped that.

Football (Support Bradford City). I have a season ticket for home matches but rarely venture away. Last away game was last year when I visited Tranmere.
Web development. Recently made a horror website

Reading. Collecting physical books but actually read on Kindle, lol. Kind is my favorite tech device, I take it everywhere I go.

I need to go back to play basketball too, I was a baller when I was a student...

DIY and woodwork.

I can't draw, paint, sing or play music. But Ive gotten pretty good at making and fixing things around our home.

- This falls under gaming but now that I'm getting older I've been really into SIM racing recently. Eventually will get back into flight SIMs when I have more time to learn it.
- Working out at the home gym
- Retirement planning to the point of obsessive over it (Trying to FIRE in my 40s)

Currently don't have one. It used to be collecting movies and anime but I've cut back on that. Then it was collecting comics for a time and I stopped doing that about half a year ago. I wanted to say reading web novels but that seems more like scrolling on my phone than a hobby. I really don't even game like I used to. I tend to read or listen more about the hobby than actually doing anything.

I lift weights. I read books. I argue philosophy. I play guitar and am teaching myself piano. Wine and cooking

Ice swimming
Brewing kombucha
Growing plants like Super Mario's favourite, or the one named after Spider-Man's girlfriend

I spend a lot of my time flying RC helicopters in the real and in sims like Next or HELI-X. I love just about anything RC related. I'm also into collecting old vintage computer stuff and Silicon Graphics stuff, like sales stuff, ads, magazines, and pretty much anything Silicon Graphics related. Funny enough, I just ended up winning an auction for some SGI IRIS Universe magazines. Didn't get the big lots, I lost, but I still came away with some table scraps, and with SGI stuff even the scraps people fight over. Meeting some of these collectors I now know they are some of the most obsessive people you will come across. Throwing in towel chasing grails, I don't want to get emotionally invested in these items only for you to lose the auction, it takes its toll on you after a while. lol

me practicing on the sim

This is what I'm building at the moment a SAB Fireball 280 with a Lynx triple head rotor and tail. I got insanely lucky on this one as a few years back someone was dumping the Qube head and tail system for dirt cheap, brand new, so I grabbed three of each, both the main head and the tail. The problem was blades, they stopped making the proper ones years ago, and the only possible replacements that MIGHT work were coming out of China… which is great until they banned carbon fiber blade exports. Then out of nowhere this year, after years of nothing on ebay, someone listed five brand new sets, plus three more sets of the shorter 255mm blades. I bought all of them. So now I'm officially out of excuses, I've got everything I need to finally get this in the air.

After having a few weeks of downtime, I realized that I no longer have other hobbies. To be fair, I did do much gaming either. Old me would have at least read several books and watched several movies or TV series. Current me threw on repeats of South Park, The Simpson's and Family Guy with a little Science and History channel thrown in. I need to get a life.

edit- I will add, I have been following a trial in Hawaii, HI v. Gerhardt Konig. I do follow interesting trials via YouTube and Court TV. Maybe that counts as something.

Investor and looking for business opportunities on my own.

I go to music events and meet entertainment personalities.

Or I spontaneously go to sporting events.

Making electronic music. Nowadays, I only get inspired to do it like twice a year, where I'll sit down and binge-make a song from start to finish.

Apart from that, I try to exercise at least 3 times a week.

Video games easily take up most of my free time.

Cycling probably, however I'm doing much less now than 5 or 10 years ago and not for health reasons, I think I'll have to look for something new.
