the game looks decent I guess, but in the video footage it looks like vehicles blow up like they are made of lego. eg a plane just suddenly breaks into dozens of tiny pieces flying in all directions. you can similar in the 4th picture down in those pics.

That first pic rocks! Tank climbing up a tree, whilst either a) shooting a random streak of fire or b) about to be hit by a random streak of fire, a soldier kneeling on his bleeding knee with a bazooka! This game rocks.

if complaining about people whining = irony then so be it. Reading these boards sucks more and more recently with all the bitching and moaning and people negatively judging a game based on some screenshots. I am proud of my "irony" :D

ahh, I can see why you interpreted it that way, but...

I'm estimating the games quality based on Relic's track record, and that I know some of the people working on it, and I trust them. (no, I dont have leet insider info, but I just trust that they will make a great game. I barely even looked at the screens heh)
 
I think he means the fire is not giving off light, making shadows. (which you should not see, unless it is nightime anyway)

Where are the heat waves off the fire? Are you and the team saving that effect, along with the next generation graphics for the PLAYSTATION 3 version, Bishop?
 
Judging from Relic's last few games. I am willing to give this a real go. Lets see, this is basically squad based mercenaries with calling in firepower and fully destructable environments; online.

WTF are you talking about fucking shadows caused by the light source of a burning whatever.

FUCKING HELL, when did fun stop being about fun and start being about what fucking shader was in use???????????????????????????????????
 
The pics are 600*337. Not exactly a good resolution in order to form any sort of judgement on the game. Obviously they have been scaled down, and that can affect image quality as a result.

I am not even a defender of this game by any means. I'm mildly interested, but it's obvious to me by the thread title, and the final comment in the original post that this is just a troll thread.

Anyone that saw the video for this game knows its going to be a good-great X360 game. Judging by what is coming out this year, maybe one of the top 3 games.
