Over 100 heroes in DOTA, yet hardly any of them are minorities

Seriously, WTF? So many damn characters and almost all of the human heroes are white.

So many damn mobas with a ton of characters in them and yet there is no diversity in the look of human characters in these games. Fuck man, throw minorities a bone.

It's a legacy thing from Warcraft 3. Although they did do a gender swap with LC when bringing her over. I honestly never noticed, a lot of heroes seem only vaguely "human" as is.

There are not many humans, honestly. Most of them are fantasy creatures or non-existant races, like Axe/Disruptor/Huskar.

It's a fantasy game with mostly fantasy characters, not sure I see the issue. As a straight white male I really don't identify myself with any character in any moba I've ever played.

It was a pretty large issue for a while. They've actually picked up their game significantly recently.

Hell, the most recent champ is a skinny black kid with some innovative mechanics.

You're probably right, most of these take inspiration from WC heroes.

I consider DK, LC, AM, Juggernaut, Bloodseeker, Chen POC. Earth, Ember, and Storm spirit are definitely Chinese influenced.
