EA’s ‘FIFA 14’ returns to No1 (+8%) having last been top of the pile in week 6 this year.

The title has still not been out of the Top 6 since launch 28 weeks ago and now has a total of 11 weeks at No1 – a feat that only 4 other titles have managed (‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire’, ‘Wii Fit’, ‘Zumba Fitness’ and ‘FIFA: Road to the World Cup 98’). Bethesda debut strongly at No2 with the PC version of ‘The Elder Scrolls Online’ – a first game and 5 years in the making for Zenimax Online Studios, with PS4/Xbox One versions to follow. EA’s Xbox One/PC ‘Titanfall’ holds at No3 (-36%), with an Xbox 360 version coming next week.

Climbing 4 places to No4 is Activision Blizzard’s ‘Call of Duty: Ghosts’ (+35%) and boxed product sales of this game are no doubt spiking due to the launch this week of the second DLC pack ‘Devastation’ on Xbox formats. Konami drop 3 places over last week at No5 with ‘Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes’ (-46%) and Sony’s PS4 ‘Infamous: Second Son’ (-55%) drops 5 places to No6 having held on to No1 for 2 weeks. The only other new release within the Top 40 is Tecmo Koei’s ‘Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Complete Ed.’ debuting at No29 for PS4/Vita.

Fifa remains a beast. PES really doesn't stand a chance any more...

Surprised to see TF holding strong. Indication that hardware is selling relatively well?

Fifa +8% moves from no.4 -> no.1
ESO - new
TitanFall -36% 3rd->3rd

Doesn't seem like ESO did that well retail, but it is a PC game. Overall sales seem quite depressed though.

There should be a huge wave of PS4 shipments this week. The place I'm working at (big electronics retailer in Zurich, Switzerland) is getting 160 units on Friday.

Going off previous impressions, everytime we got new consoles in lots of EuroGAF people claimed that PS4s were back in stock so it'll probably hit all over Europe.

Where's PvZ for the Xbox One??

The X360 version is doing pretty well. Makes me wonder how the X360 version of Titanfall will do

Yup, mostly sold out now though.

Amazon is getting a shipment on the 22nd, apparently.

The UK and Germany got big shipments recently (as per Amazon). No dice for France, and they don't give a date for the next shipment either.

Does Dynasty usually do well in the UK?

No5 as developer Omega Force return with ‘Dynasty Warriors 8’ landing at No5. The latest instalment places 4th in the series best launch weeks behind Dynasty Warriors 6, 7 and Dynasty Warriors 5 - Empires

this was from the 2013 release when in launched on 360/ps3 in pal

I think we all probably had an incling that Titanfall would outsell ISS and have longer legs, so seeing it drop below TF is not really that shocking.

The thing that is still surprising is the difference in numbers of titles in the top 40 for PS4 vs Xbone. I imagined the uptake in Xbox One consoles with TF release would see some third party titles get a boost, but PS4 is still ruling the roost with 6 multiplat titles in the top 40 while the XBone only has 4, with these 4 being much lower in general than their PS4 counter parts.

Nothing! I said nothing!
Strange, isn't it? Most next-gen versions of multiplats are selling better than their last-gen counterparts, but this one s nowhere.

It debuted ahead of the 360 version if I remember correctly. Everyone on XB1 will be playing TF now.

Impressed with TF holding second.

Feel bad for DW8. I grabbed a digital Vita copy and I'm having fun with it. It's not as polished as DW: Next was though.

MGS GZ still rather high. Hope other publisher don't get crazy ideas of this now that GT Prologue and GZ showed that you can get away with it. Still needs to be a pretty big IP for it to work i guess.

Dem Titan LEGS. Im expecting to remain in the top 20 for a long while.

Not hard to have legs when there is a bundle that's cheaper than PS4. I think most sales probably come from the bundles. InFamous Second Son bundle is pretty much sold out now, hence the drop in sales.

Ground Zeroes starting a terrible trend.
I don't see the problem. If you don't want to pay what they're asking, don't buy it. Either leave it altogether or pick it up for ten quid in a month or two.

Reminds of people moaning about GT Prologue. Some of us want that 'sneak peek' and we're willing to pay a reduced price for a reduced product.

What bundle is that?

Titanfall Bundle, it's keeping sales of the game going as people obviously get it with the console for free.

inFamous Bundle is not providing a free game.

Also places like Gamestop and ShopTo have some pretty sweet deals on the Titanfall bundle.

I think giving PES 2014 with PS+ away might boost their sales a bit next year, if folks like it.

Exactly, TitanFall is selling those boxes, Fifa 14 is free too but being overshadowed. Infamous bundle is available right now on Amazon, Argos, Simply games. Its not hard to find.

It's available at Simply Games, although that isn't exactly a huge retailer. It's only available at Amazon via re-sellers for a £40 mark-up (whereas the solus console is available at normal price) and it's only available for collection from Argos, with most stores having sold out.

Not actually that important

Here in Italy you can walk in any store and pick up a PS4.
Has been that way since late-January. Xbox One... lol, just let's say that I've picked up a Titanfall bundle from a big electronics chain store (Euronics) and it was the very same box I had seen the week before, so I asked the clerk and he told me that they had sold a single fucking unit since Titanfall's launch day, when they sold 8 of the 10 TF bundles they had. The very same store had roughly 10 PS4s (no ISS bundles tho) available.
Mediaworld (biggest store in my city) had at least 10 PS4s and a couple of ISS bundles and what looked like I dunno, probably over 100 Xbone units? Maybe 70? Not sure but it was a freaking WALL full of them with demo units in the middle and all that jazz. Demo unit in the middle of it, yeah... of a PS4 with Octodad playing,
I should've taken a pic, damn

Saint Titanfall
I think he meant Titanfall bundle is cheaper than Infamous bundle.

It was difficult to get last week.
EDIT: And apparently even this week.

But the PS4 itself is in stock so couldn't people interested just buy it separately. I can't see how it would make a huge difference either way.

Ground Zeroes starting a terrible trend.

I put more hours into it than Second Son, which I platinumed, and I'm not done with it yet. For £20.

Kf that's a terrible trend, then personally I hope I helped ruin the gaming industry... And I'd do it all over again.

Oh, absolutely. The PS4 by itself is going to be more popular than having a game force-bundled for an extra £40, which is why the game specific bundles are produced in relatively limited quantities. It's also by far the most readily available version - it's been near the top of Amazon's best-sellers for a good three weeks now.

Yes unit wise the PS4 is likely still outselling as the console itself is still very appealing to consumers

But in terms of software between inFamous SS and TF likely the TF bundle is more helping to its software sales relative to SS
