Almost ready to settle down and get through the two X360 Rare games. Thinking about doing PDZ first and was wondering which way of playing through it is more enjoyable:

1)With some random guy on live who probably has played through the game several times and will know exactly where he is going.

2)Offline experiencing the "Where do I go now? How do I survive this section?" for myself and figuring out how to get through the game.

Best situation would be online co-op with someone whose never played the game before so it's new to both of us, but this late after launch I think that's near impossible. I tried offline split-screen, but I hate the limited viewpoint :\

Suggestions?

I would play through the game on Secret Agent first to unlock all of the weapons, and then move on to Perfect Agent Co-op and Single player. Co-op is definitely the most fun. I'm sure you'll be able to find Gaffers to play with.

I'd play alone for now. It's better to learn the levels on your own, rather than just running behind some random person.

The good thing about jumping into Co-op is that some people are nice and will take super weapons along to give you at the end. These could help loads in later levels.

That is only if they are nice though :-|

As with GE and PD before this, you can SPRINT through the game on Secret, if you are good, know what weapon to use, where the enemies are lurking, where to go, etc. So, playing with someone who is a master could be an excercise in chasing them down...

Now, playing with someone cool, who like you is new; THAT'S FUN!!! (What I did), I played with several different people, a few levels each, on 11/22-24. Still playing with a few of these people. Damn good time, and there are a lot of cool people playing Co-op!!

So, conclusion, I would host a game, and when people come into your lobby, ask if they have played the 1p game. If not, go for it!

Get ready for a damn good time with both games btw.

I just got my 360 today.... FINALLY... Got Project Gothem and PDZ.... I played gothem an hour or two after work... but that's it...

I still need to figure how i'm going to get on live... but i'll get to that tomorrow..

God, I wished I played this on co-op. I just beat the single player and this game has become my new turd of the year. I can't believe I even completed it.

Hey hey...PD0 isn't a total bomb, but the single player just sucks ass. Multiplayer was actually pretty fun though when I played with a few of you dudes the other night. That I can see myself playing, but single player...I'm not touching it ever again, maybe for online co-op but single player no way. It felt like they made multiplayer a priority over single player...

Co-op is required for a couple achievements.
